matt_one Posted April 2, 2014 Author Posted April 2, 2014 Instructions! Must...have...instructions. I love Gundam, so fantastic job! You can find instructions for the head, the link is at the top of this topic. It's the V.1 head. I'm still working on my creation, and after three months of work, I wanted to make some pictures. There are many things that I have to fix yet, but now I need absolutely a break. I'll be glad to share the LXF file when my creation will seem less fragile. Anyway, take a look at my first creation here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/373357 if you like it, you can download instructions! Quote

matt_one Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 You're welcome! How did you render it to get that cool toon shader comic book style from LDD? Obviously, I've rendered it using LddToPOVRay converter. I've used these settings : Radiosity tab : Enabled (Fast); Enabled "Use sky sphere" with dark grey Single color; Outlines tab : enabled at maximum level of detail ( crease edge + silhouette ); Then, the final rendered image is treated with Akvis HDRFactory. You can download it free and have a 10 days of trial available. I've used the FadeEdges preset as starting preset, then tried some changes on settings. You can see another nice effect with a Photoshop filter, here's an example picture I've made: Quote
