oo7 Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Yep. Wikipedia is not to be trusted for Lego set information. Anyone can edit in whatever they want. here the pic http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/bruceway...o_2007_a_h6.jpg We've seen all those, except why does the Chum Bucket look like a large rocket and a lift-off tower with bob and patrick at a picnic table? 8-| The picture does look like a 'Sandy's Rocket' but the caption says 'Chum Bucket'.....weird..... Quote
phoinix Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 this is really weird! there is a picture! i havent seen this before! but it does say chum bucket... *wacko* *wacko* WACKO! Quote
Ras 74 Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Although this guy brucewayne is a fbtb member if I don Quote
Boonetrooper Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 That's Sandy's rocket all right. But the lack of a Sandy figure could make it an easy fake. 8-| Quote
Chuck Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 That is definatley fake. Upon closer inspection, you can see that the lighting of the model is not up to par with the other sets, in addition to the "Chum Bucket" classification. You can also see that it is clearly the work of an AFOL if you look closely and see the techniques used. Quote

But it's clearly in an official LEGO retail catalogue (the one's given to stores): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=224045 Quote

Hinckley Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Yes, I realize that. Could have been photoshopped, right? Then again, am I not allowed to make mistakes?-l2k- It is written that the Master of Space MOC shall make no mistakes. X-D :-/ dur, I make dumb jokes sometimes. Anyway, I have two cents to throw in here: $0.01-It's been a long time since I've seen a successful fake set pic. This picture accompanies several pages from a dealer's catalog and would be quite a lot of work to go through to fake one set. $0.01-However, the box for Sandy's Rocket in that pic has no info on it besides age and set #... Upon closer inspection, you can see that the lighting of the model is not up to par with the other sets, in addition to the "Chum Bucket" classification. Considering it's supposed to be a preliminary image, that's everything but unusual. Regardless, I still am thinking it's a good photoshop job. Quote
sam89 Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 $0.01-However, the box for Sandy's Rocket in that pic has no info on it besides age and set #... But neither does 7982. I'm pretty sure these are just prototype boxes ;-) Quote
Ras 74 Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Then again, am I not allowed to make mistakes?-l2k- Actually, no you are not! :-P :-D I think those speculations is pretty funny. And I can definatley agree with L2K that it is quit easy to photoshop these things if you are a bit familiar with those programs. I like the way some people really study the pics for techniques and so on... Quote
Zaktan of the Shadows Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 I wonder if its real. Looks pretty cool though. -ZotS Quote
Kahgarak Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Too bad that the part with the minifigs is too shiny, else we could see if there's a Sandy fig. Quote
alex54 Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 Personnaly, if it's a real set, I'm a bit disapointed with a Sandy set. I wanted a big tree and not her rocket (that Bob and Patric used. They didn't go to space like they thought and they caught all the Bikini Bottom's inhabitants in net. That is for the story, an episod from the third season) Just hope to have more SB funny set! Cabby Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 It can be seen in Brickjournal (page 7) here: BrickJournal Quote

Oliverphoenix Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Very wierd and typical there has to be light where Sandy is supposed to be,still by zooming in on the image you can see/guess theres a clear dome piece with a pink flower on top and a very unclear lego head and body. Perhaps the set will fade into the background and will never be heard off again though I hope we see the set released in the future,a Sandy minifig would be very cool...well if it looks right... Boonetrooper Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 There's something there all right. using the wii zoom, (it's amazing how far it can zoom) I can see a fig, though I'm not sure if it's Sandy... Only time will tell, indeed. ================== From Boone's Wii! Quote

xwingyoda Posted May 22, 2007 Posted May 22, 2007 But neither does 7982. I'm pretty sure these are just prototype boxes ;-) G I just noticed this thread *wacko* I agree with you Sam, it really looks like a prototype set (look at the bat sets, they are indeed the preliminary version of the upcomming ones). My guess is that TLC decided to ditch that set ? Anyhow its too bad because it was a great looking set for what we see: sweet rocket !! Oh well, I do hope to have some clarifications on that ;-) *yoda* Quote
Skateboarder_2_da_max Posted June 13, 2007 Posted June 13, 2007 Uh.... In the catolag, I don't see anything, can someone circle it, or highlight it some way? Quote
Darkness Falls Posted June 19, 2007 Posted June 19, 2007 Can I get a good picture of this? I can't see the pic on page one... Quote
