trippybrowneyes Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I own a green 1994 Honda Del Sol in real life, so naturally I decided that my sigfig should have one. I wanted to keep it vintage scale (along the lines of the convertible from the Poolside Paradise set), but with modern pieces. Here is my real Del Sol: Here is my Lego version: I had so much fun building the first one, I decided to build a second sporty car: Quote
Solscud007 Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Nice! I always liked the style of the Del Sol. Just wish it was lighter and faster haha. I see a lot of them around where I am with the bumpers that dont have the small round front lights. Have you ever seen the Japanese Del Sol with motorized roof? It is so cool!! Quote
Legodt Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 I love these little cars. I might copy a few of these designs for my LEGO town. I prefer this scale vehicle from the original twon series. The new City cars are too fat for the roads in my LEGO town. I modified the NY taxi to fit a minifig and this scale works really well. Quote

Mine's getting a supercharger at some point, so that will hopefully help. I have seen a video of the motorized roof. They're neat, but I've already built up my arm muscles lifting the roof off of mine (not that I could get my hands on a motorized roof anyway!). Plus I love how it fits into the trunk. I'd like to see your town. :) Edited March 14, 2014 by trippybrowneyes Quote
