Sir Brickalot Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Hi everyone! I bought a Lego Movie minifig pack over the weekend and recieved Larry the Barista. I love him! So he needed a MOC of his own to star in. I wanted to build his Flying Coffee Cart, so I had a crack at it! This is the reference pic I used. Thanks CM4S! http://img4.wikia.no...arryblaster.png ... And here is my MOC: As you can see, it's not entirely accurate. Firstly, I don't have any white coffee mugs, so I had to settle for red. And the black pipes should be brown, but that piece doesn't exist in brown (correct me if I'm wrong). But overall, I am happy with it: I wanted to put my own twist on it. Here's a front view. You can see some flick fire coffee beans on the sides. And the back. It was quite a challenge to get the four 'wings' at the right angle, but when I put some olive cheeses underneath the Technic bricks, I was sorted. Finally, Larry posing with his new ride. Thanks for reading! C&C welcome! Quote
CM4Sci Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Haha, this is actually pretty good compared to the pic. Nice work, glad the pic I got helped. -Sci Quote

HomerJSimpson Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Very nice! I just realized that it looks like Larry built it out of a Starbucks... :D Quote
Dorayaki Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Great job!! You definitely have lots of love for Larry. Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 Sorry for the double post, but would anyone like me to design an actual coffee cart on LDD using just these pieces? I was thinking about it, but I need a few more opinions. Thanks! Quote
Blondie-Wan Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Swanky! As you can see, it's not entirely accurate. Firstly, I don't have any white coffee mugs, so I had to settle for red. And the black pipes should be brown, but that piece doesn't exist in brown (correct me if I'm wrong). But overall, I am happy with it: I wanted to put my own twist on it. And isn't that the point, really? Quote
