Vee Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 THIS forum made me start a minifig collection! It all started with me having to choose an avatar for this forum, a picture to represent me. I chose, at first, a minifig of a cowboy because I was born and raised in a city that is known as a city of cowboys (today is more like modern cowboys...). I searched the internet for the words "cowboy lego" and found a minifig that I liked. After a while, I chose to change it, due to my Italian roots, for something more Italian, and I thought jokingly about the mafia. So after some search for some mafia related minifig I found the minifig that I am using now. After looking so often to my two avatars, the cowboy and the Italian ones, I grew fond of them and I decided to find out more about these two minifigs. That is when I learned that both were part of a series of minifigs, fortunately easy to buy. I then looked at all minifigs from all series and found just one more that was also related to me, the computer programming guy. So now my immense minifig collection has these three minifigs, and I have no plans on expanding it unless Lego comes up with something that has a strong relation to what I am and like. The "mafioso" has just killed a man, poor guy, and there is blood all over... Quote
Ridge Montante Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Very cool. I like the small details you put next to each figure. Quote
MAB Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Even dead minifigs still count. This may also be appropriate for your Italian roots ... Quote
Vindicare Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 How on Earth do you store such a huge collection?! Quote
Vee Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 Thank you all for the nice comments. How on Earth do you store such a huge collection?! As you can see, in a HUMONGOUS shelf! Even dead minifigs still count. This may also be appropriate for your Italian roots ... That is a nice minifig...maybe I'll add it to my super collection. I love pizza! The dead minifig is an "accessory to a minifig". Quote
KingPixels Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Great collection! You sure love wide brimmed hats! Quote
