Ecclesiastes Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 (This was actually my entry for the Modular Madness from my Lug, but I started to late to compete. So I gave it a Medieval twist for the AoM.) After Elon and his grandsons visited the Elves it was time to go home, to Valholl. This was a relief for grandma because she thought it was way to dangerous for the boys to be outside the cities' walls. Not all the Kaddries were captured and Black Spire soldiers were also spotted. So Elon showed Albion and Elijah some parts of the city. In this part of the city he showed were his favorite author lived and the location of a tax office. He also told about the history of the buildings, they weren't always this tall.... Phase 1 Phase 2 Phase 3 Interior tan house: Basement: Unfortunately Valholl isn't free of crime. Here you see a murderer who hides bodies in his basement. By removing the small staircase he could dump the bodies. Ground floor: His wife wasn't aware of what he was doing. First floor: But in the end all criminals get caught, especially when a Chorian is a man of the law! Second floor: Bedroom Interior olive green house: Basement: Food storage Ground floor: Valholl has a rich culture and part of that are writers. First floor: A guest warming up at the fireplace. Second floor: The bedroom and access to the balcony. Interior dark tan house: Ground floor: Every citizen has to pay taxes. At one of the tax offices you are able to pay your share. There's also a special room for storage and planning of the tax transport routes. First floor: Having a drink in the livingroom. Second floor: Time for an afternoon nap! Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I like it! The interiors are small but nice. Quote
kabel Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Yeah, those houses are great and I really think they would make an extremely nice addition to Thorshaven as a waterfront module. So please don't take them apart! Quote
mrcp6d Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Excellent MOC Ecc! The interior detailing is fantastic--I particularly like the spiral staircase. Quote

HammerBro Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 So many intricate parts, I love it! The exteriors make a great squeezed in medieval town feel. Quote
Gideon Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Very nice houses, especially the roofing designs and the front facades! The picture from the street side is just fantastic I also like that you have made interiors, even though some of the rooms inevitable are a bit too cramped on that scale... Quote
The Architect Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I love this so much! I like the murder basement lol. When I saw the guy on the roof my first thought was ''whos that jumping out the window'' Quote

soccerkid6 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Clever idea for the AoM phases, adding new stories works nicely Excellent color schemes on all the houses and I really like the gables on the tax building And that's a lot of plates those houses are made from Quote
