I'm looking into using tranasperant decals and would need to use plain torsos.

How would you remove printing?

Please say multiple methods as I'm looking into the most cheapest and easiest way -arn't we all? :P-

Thanks :)

Hi Sand,

I know it's none of my business  , but is removing printing necessary?

Wouldn't it be nicer to get some plain torsos to start with, and then apply your custom transparencies?

Prices for a torso are about $0.75-$0.80AUD

Wouldn't like to see a printed part rendered irreversible (even if it's one of those airport tops that I seem to have way too many of :tongue:973p16c01.gif).

Cheers,

Haha :P

True, just due to a big projeect coming up. I'm trying to set a low budget on minifigure parts - why I'm buying from brickforge with the 50% off- for the project. Though I'll look into it I think the light bley torso may be expensive as I believe it only comees in 1 set :/

Which rubber do you use?

Use a sander, but be very careful. That's how I do it.

That damages the minifgure. Brasso just removes the printing and not the surface of the part.

I use the Staedtler brand. Pretty much any store that carries office supplies should have them. They look like this:

Hope that helps!
