dviddy Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Infected Lewa Gold Mask Lewa Side Unfortunately, few of the pictures caught the gear on the back. It's a feature I'm quite in love with, though it is mere decoration. So yes. I have very few green Technic bits, I wish I had more so I could lose the black on the back of the arms. I also wish for some battle droid or Exo-Force robot arms in lime or normal green. <<DV>> Quote

Asuka Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Great in proportion and structure. *y* Green power on! Quote
Shakar Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 A revamp of one of my favourite Toa that does him justice, great job. Just two things that make me curious: 1)Do the knees bend? 2)How big is he? Shakar Quote
Brainbox Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 1)Do the knees bend? It looks as if they might. Look at the ball-joints there. I'd guess they're not there for nothing. But this is definately one great MOC. I've kind of gone of Bionicle a bit, but this is just great. It's different, but evokes a sense of the original. Quote
Shakar Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 I did see the ball joints, but I'd just like to make sure, since I saw some of DV's MOCs with no knee movement. Shakar Quote
Brainbox Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Just noticed, the legs are bent slightly in the 'Infected Lewa' pic DV posted earlier, and in this pic here: Quote
dviddy Posted April 27, 2007 Author Posted April 27, 2007 I did see the ball joints, but I'd just like to make sure, since I saw some of DV's MOCs with no knee movement. Which ones? I've built movable knees into everything for the past like, three years or more. Even if the pictures don't have them bent, they still do. It's hard to take a good picture with the knees all bent up and stuff. I'm too OCD and perfectionistic to allow goofy pictures, so that's what happens to a lot of the action pose shots. I also didn't have much space on that shelf to take a fully bent knee picture. 2)How big is he? Defilak and Dekar come up to the bottom of his crotch. <<DV>> Quote
JoeMI6 Posted April 27, 2007 Posted April 27, 2007 Very nice work here. I always love to see Toa bulked up. And Lewa is one of my faves, keep it up! I wanna see Kopaka next ;-) Quote

Strikin' Venom Posted April 28, 2007 Posted April 28, 2007 Nice. Very nice. Brilliant fusion of Technic and System... I saw this on BZP... Quote

Must've been something worded or read wrong. Kanta's knees bent, as his leg design was basically the same as Matoro's, Nuparu's, and Jaller's (I need to build something that isn't a character re-imagining...) <<DV>> Quote
