Anyone built a CC?

It finally arrived!! after 3 weeks of waiting. I'm saving the build for next week during my holiday, but I already had a look at the instructions and considering to change so things. I normally prefer to build a model at least once how LEGO intended it to be. With CC there are so many parts I don't know if I want to build it twice! I got to wondering has anyone managed to build it exactly per spec in the instructions? ie no custom mods? just seems to tempting to change something...

yes corner cafe. I read the review and that was another thing that made me want to buy it!

I was looking through the instructions book and I quite like the smaller town house idea :)

But I decided now to build it with mods, I esp like the set back windows I saw here somewhere!

I have one, but it seems I'm below the age limit so I have to store it in my closet for two years until I can build it.

No, I built it already. :-P I copied it brick-for-brick from the instructions, integrated it into my town, and then made a fair amount of modifications.

I haven't bought it yet, but I plan to as soon as I can. I have seen the model though. I definitly thought Lego did a good job with it. I noticed the stairs and back walls. I asked my freind if the model came that way. I was surprised to hear that Lego actually included these things. I am glad to see the model is not open in the back like the other town buildings Lego has made before. I hope they keep creating buildings with finished walls like this. I would definitly give this model a *y* up.
