Shine Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 I like purple, but dark bluish gray is my favourite because of army look. Also light bluish gray is nice for metal decoration.Blue, tan, green are also good. Way to dig up a topic from four years ago. How did you even find it?Anyway, I'm rather partial to translucent colors myself. Those aside, I prefer basic colors like the standard red, blue, green, etc. The darker ones tend to be far less common and photograph poorly, at least for me. Quote

This is the only "what's your favorite color" topic i viewed. I didn't look for any older topics! I forgot to say that i also like transparent colors. Especially (had to look in a dictionary to see how it's spelled ) transparent green, red... Quote
Miss Kyle Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Purple is my favourite colour in general, so I'll happily pick it for Lego, too :) Quote
SilentMode Posted February 16, 2011 Posted February 16, 2011 Even though many of my creations have been monochrome, I'm a fan of the sand and transparent colours. My favourite colour is probably sand blue, although dark blue comes close. Quote
Gabe Posted February 17, 2011 Posted February 17, 2011 What, no love for dark brown?? I reckon it's great for breaking up solid wooden buildings, suggesting shadow in trees and for dark tree roots etc. Dark green is awesome for landscaping too. I'm also quite partial to the medium blue that was supplied so heavily in the MMV. I really, really wish i had some more sand green too. Quote
legotrainfan Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 The two old greys plus old brown.... maybe I'm just saying that because they don't exist any more. I don't know. But from time to time I still buy bricks in those colours on bricklink and I built a church in old grey. However, I also use the new greys and the new brown, of course. Quote
Zeya Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 That shiny gold chrome color. I've been in love with the little Pirate doubloons since I was a kid. I'm stoked that the POTC sets will have new gold bars. It just gets me excited for some reason and I still feel a little bit like I have real treasure when I look at it. Quote
Jargo Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 I like them all apart from regular red, blue and yellow. So sick of those colours. If I really had to pick one colour as a favourite though, I'd probably say orange. Trans/trans neon/light/medium/dark or regular. It is the colour I will auto-gravitate towards. Quote

DeathMakuta Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Orange, as used in the Creator sets :D Quote
prateek Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 Okay, so this thread is revived, I guess. My picks would be lime green, dark red, dark blue, dark green, dark tan, dark brown, pretty much any dark colour. As for Translucent colours, I like dark blue and purple. Quote
smittyfan Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Anyway, I'm rather partial to translucent colors myself. me too! especially the glittery pink ones featured in the Belville sets. Quote
benhead Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Chrome parts!I only have a few though. It would be cool to get enough to rebuild older sets only in chrome. Quote
iElkie Posted March 9, 2011 Posted March 9, 2011 I'm a girl, I like pink... No, kidding aside: I love tan, Maersk blue and lime (bright yellowish green is a tongue-twister). Quote
Lalror Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I love the new dark brown color! It work perfectly along side black and adds to almost any creation. Quote
user Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I like... Purple!- looks very nice and helps a lot with my newer cyber-y creations I'm working on and it just overall looks pleasing (Wish it was more common though) lime green- Also helpful with cyber creations and has a nice eye-catching look to it that also helps to make things look industrial. Trans-neon green-has a very pleasing "Glowy" look to it and can make almost any moc look interesting. black- Don't want to seem emo or anything but I just love the color, you can fit it in any moc and it'll almost always look good, plus there are TONS of different black pieces.
