I'm not sure I follow, normally you use a gear lever to move it between 1 or two gears, How does it work with this ?

These parts are not meant to be use for gearbox transmissions, they are meant for machinery where three functions pass though the turntable.

I think the part design is good. But I do question whether a printed part will have the necessary strength compared to a moulded part. It might prompt TLG to have a look at these parts for a future flagship machine.

Ok guys I have 10 sets ordered, I will keep sets aside for those who have already requested there interest.

Any left overs will be on a 'first come first serve basis' and for the time being limited to one set to each person though my Bricklink shop.

Wow cool! What program do you use to get the pieces printed. I would like to make some custom parts.

Happy building!

Hi Alasdair, any update on the availability of the parts? Curious as to when you can expect the parts to be ready.

My custom driving ring parts are now available to buy on my Bricklink store. :classic:

That's cool! I won't be buying one, sorry  but I'd like to suggest you to make better quality photo (now it is very blurry). Also some additional photos of suggested combinations would be helpful for someone who stumble upon your shop.
