SNIPE Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 (edited) I'm not sure I follow, normally you use a gear lever to move it between 1 or two gears, How does it work with this ? Edited February 4, 2014 by SNIPE Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted February 4, 2014 Author Posted February 4, 2014 (edited) These parts are not meant to be use for gearbox transmissions, they are meant for machinery where three functions pass though the turntable. Edited February 4, 2014 by Alasdair Ryan Quote
Junpei Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 :excited: That looks awesome! I hope the next set has the right tolerances. I'm a bit broke atm, but I might be interested... TLH Quote
andythenorth Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 Do you still need supporters? I have no use for the part, but I think it's an interesting project, I'd kick in £10 for amusement. Quote
trekman Posted February 4, 2014 Posted February 4, 2014 I think the part design is good. But I do question whether a printed part will have the necessary strength compared to a moulded part. It might prompt TLG to have a look at these parts for a future flagship machine. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted February 4, 2014 Author Posted February 4, 2014 Well for £10 get to own a set,I am only trying to find out how many to get made. Nylon is very strong,do a search if you are unsure. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 Ok guys I have 10 sets ordered, I will keep sets aside for those who have already requested there interest. Any left overs will be on a 'first come first serve basis' and for the time being limited to one set to each person though my Bricklink shop. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted February 7, 2014 Author Posted February 7, 2014 Love to see this handle high torque! You are not meant to put Lego through high torque anyway,It would be hard to break any because it is made of nylon. Quote
