sportinglife Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) A bit of american "steeple cab" a bit of Italian and Swiss three phase electric locomotive, with a taste of Japanese Meitetsu Deki 100. I'm very satisfied of the trolleys. Still under development, at the moment with cheap chinese clones. Edited January 23, 2014 by sportinglife Quote
Orange Leader Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I like the shape of this train and It's blackness. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Well done, I like the trolleys! Quote
Man with a hat Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Nice, very characteristic looks of an early electric engine. Quote
Doom2099 Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Looks like it could have been made by Lord Business! But seriously great job with this. The top is especially cool. Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 this little train looks great, just like some of the early ones we see in the old photos in Europe. Reminds me of the type of train we see on Swiss mountain railways, the ones with the cog wheel in the middle. Quote
lightningtiger Posted January 24, 2014 Posted January 24, 2014 Very nice early electric engine 'sportinglife'.......Brick On ! Quote

dr_spock Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Looks good in all black. What clone parts did you use? Quote
pacc Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Enlighten 638 - great value in wheels and couplers and other useful parts. You can see the only non-replacable brick in the electric mod. Makes me want to try this myself... Quote

With the sole Enlighten 638 you won't go too far ...even thou it's a cheap source of useful pieces Are you able to see the improved version...I can't upload the pictures here http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=6024663 Edited January 27, 2014 by sportinglife Quote

Makes me want to try this myself... I've never tried the Enlighten stuff, but I THINK some of the comments in the clone brick thread said that the wheels are low quality and high friction. So just be careful until you know for sure what you are getting. Meanwhile, the track looks like a very attractive alternative if I were just starting out. Quote
sportinglife Posted February 10, 2014 Author Posted February 10, 2014 Obviuosly you can't compare LEGO and Enlighten, especially in term of "friction". Anyway, a parte the unique enlighten brick, my MOC is fully reproducible with genuine LEGO bricks Quote
