I think minifigure wise we will probably get the majority of the dwarfs between The Battle Of The Five Armies and the Erebor set

Never know with TLG but I'd imagine we'd get 8 or so dwarves in Erebor and BOFA could focus on, you know, armies? I am expecting two named characters (Dain and A: Bolg, B: Thranduil in armor, C: Bard) and the rest army builders. I am NOT expecting any dwarves. (besides Iron hill soldiers)

Well then here's the thing we can be sure about

A. Dain

B. Blue coat Bilbo

C. Galadriel

D. Smaug

E. Iron Hill soldiers

F. Witch king

I wanted to put more names in there. But i wouldn't dare to get people hyped up for something that wouldn't be made real?

Well, LEGO has obviously made some strange choices. I'm glad to hear that Erebor will be $120, but I hope the price isn't just because of Smaug. Also, an $85 BO5A set sounds good, but makes it impossible to army build unless you Bricklink (which I don't do).

Well that means i do what you don't do  . i'm so gonna bricklink, let's say there are 2 iron hillers in the BO5A set then im gonna bricklink 4 more! i mean i want some figs to guard my Dain minifig

Witch king is superconfirmed.

I think Bard is more likely to show up in Lake-Town than BOFA.

7+8 have awful PtP ratios buut that probably means lots and lots of minifigures! ;)

7 might have bear beorn and 8 will have smaug although I hope this is not the only reason for the poor ratio, a high number of minifigs would be great.

if they are going to give us all the dwarfs again they better be good to make it worth it

What about Bain, Elrond, and blue coat Bard? I'm positive Bard is going to appear because: why would they design a new print for Bard in the game when the more appropriate version in brown coat already exists? But I don't think Iron hill soldiers are confirmed however likely they are.

Bilbo to me is long overdue for a new face print. Maybe with an angry/determined face on one side to shake it up.

I would wish for a new face too :) a bit angry!

And yes indeed Bain and Elrond are confirmed, as i also agree that we'll see Bard in the sets he is not yet confirmed

Its a crying shame that the license agreement doesn't allow LEGO to produce army builders in this style:

http://shop.lego.com/en-CA/LEGO-Castle-Knights-Accessory-Set-850888?fromListing=listing

If this kind of battle pack were released for The Hobbit, we've have no issue building up massive armies. They could make two packs:

Men and Elves: two men of Dale (one archer and one soldier, two different outfits and faces) and two armoured Elves (with new helmets) wearing capes.

Orcs and Dwarves: two armoured Iron Hill Dwarves (identical figs, each with a new printed shield and different weapons) and two armoured orcs (one with a helmet and one with hair, double sided faces to allow for variety).

I know that this is just wishful thinkment, but it would solve all of the minifig distribution worries. If these were allowed, then the sets could focus on the heroes of the battles.

Sorry I kinda went off-topic with wish list making.

Just realised the BO5A set will read on the box: The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies. Set 79017 The Battle Of The Five Armies! First time a Lego set in history has had the exact same title as the movie it is based upon.

Bolg isn't but it would be logic, Thorin would defenitly be confirmed he is Smaug's rival and one of the most important characters in BO5A

Okay yeah it's very likely but by no means confirmed. The only name we have from the Erebor set is Bilbo.

Seeing how Floundie didn't agree with all of it, y'all should put a list that everyone agrees with, and then I'll put that in the first post. :classic:

Though, Floundie's original info that I added a while ago is fine now...

Sorry heh

Kev's list is fine and I don't want to stop you from putting it up. I just thought Thorin didn't really warrant a place on that list as he hasn't been totally confirmed yet. Every other fig we've heard about from Toy fair attendees. I 100% expect he will be in one of the sets but it might be best to keep it to strictly confirmed figures.

I'd be surprised if Lego doesn't include Kili and Fili in the new wave. They might not have confronted Smaug at Erebor but they do play a more important role in the BOFA over the other dwarves.

I wonder if we'll also get Tauriel in her Lake-Town outift? The one in the game does look like one of the more official designs.

I love the Laketown outfit for Tauriel. Its way better than her Mirkwood outfit.

I also wouldn't mind seeing armoured Kili and Fili, only if we also get Thorin in armour and the Erebor set is based around the BO5A rather than the forges from DOS.

I think the set is DOS but the figs are BO5A
