The master vignette builder branches out into a new field! I've just dropped a couple of comments and a question on your Pirate miniland figure.

I must say this Pharaoh is quite good, and as much as I love the Pirates I think the Pharaoh is slightly better, but that's not to imply there's anything wrong with the Pirate.

Am I correct in assuming the Pharoah was built after the Pirate?

Yes, but only by about an hour.

Probably not. I think vignettes are much more versatile than miniland. Miniland is pretty much limited to a single figure, where as with a vignette you can have multiple figures to create a whole scene.
