As it's opened to LDD model, let me share with you my LDD 747-100 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft. It's in its way to be a MOC but the building is slow because expensive.

Very nice. I had a CITY Space Shuttle sitting on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner a couple of years ago. Thought about converting the 787 to a 747 SCA but parted the 787 instead. Good luck with your project.

Finally had some time today to do some proper building, digitally that is. I started building in LDD and placed an order at Lego for some parts. I give myself a good chance of finishing a MOC/MOD for a change  A theme month is very motivating to get things done.

I made a small chinook'y helicopter, amongst other things..

Even has a loading ramp in the back!

On a side note: I really liked the 42020 :sweet:

I am also making a single engine propeller plane on a slightly larger scale, and hope to start making a large scale AH-1Z (at least in LDD) :classic:

A Cobra, right? That would be sweet. Very interested in your attempt to make such a helicopter.

Correct! Or, almost, I was thinking the Viper, which in turn is more or less just a SuperCobra with four bladed rotor

I thought as the modern day AH-1's in Marines "livery" are mostly Light Bluish Gray, it's just perfect!

I have made some rough sketches by pencil to try and scale things. I will use the blades off of 9396, which I hope will make the HellFire missiles buildable using 2x2 round bricks! :classic:

Viper with Hellfire missiles....of course!

Looking forward to it.

Ooh seeing this tiny Chinook reminds me I made those two tiny planes:

On left, a DHC-6 Twin Otter on Floats and on the right, a Pa32 Cherokee 6

This is my work in progress F-22 Raptor. It is my first attempt at a plane so I don't know if I'll be able to finish it, but this what I have so far.

I am going to make it completely black. And as you can see there is retractable landing gear, but when the wheels are folded up they don't disappear into the body.

Sorry, for the missing pictures. I'm not sure why it did that, I'll be able to post it correctly once the F-22 Raptor is done. Once again sorry for any trouble I may of caused. I guess copying them onto a document and then pasting it here doesn't work.

You need to host the picture on the nett for us to be able to view it. Bricksafe is a good place to host your pictures :)

Indeed, create a Bricksafe or Flickr account. Upload your images and link them in your post.

I've never heard of Bricksafe. I will try and make an account when I get the chance. Thanks.

It's a very user friendly website (made by Technicmad, an EB member), which will get you started in minutes.

Right click on the image, copy image url. Then click the Image button in the editor and paste the image address.

Edit: I tried, but the image doesn't have a valid extension. Needs to be .JPG

I use photobucket (also a free service) and it allows you to edit photos (good for reducing down in size) and also gives you the links you need as easy copy and pastes for posting to forums

gti180 ... looks like a gyrocopter and a wheelchair combined !

So, what's cookin'? Any progress?

I am still waiting for my order to arrive. This weekend I will continue with the digital version, so I can start building when I have the actual parts.
