steph77 Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) Hi everyone, Let me present to you a model of one full motorized excavator. That excavator is using a single L PFS motor and reversed gearboxes able to run all functions at the same time. I build that one few month ago, maybe some of you have already seen the vid on you tube. I only present the vid here, pictures are not possible anymore since this model has been put in parts some weeks ago. Edited January 7, 2014 by Jim Embedded video. Maybe caused by https? Quote
Jim Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 This is a motorized 42006 Excavator, right? Any other modifications, besides motorizing it? Quote
steph77 Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 (edited) Thanks Jim for ediding my post. I'll try to understand what was wrong. This is absolutely not an 42006. I use the arm of that set, but larger. The whole set is larger than the 8043. The motorisation of the set is the first interrest of it. I use one only L motor that is able to run all function at the same time The engine is able to put all the function and movement in every direction without intervention on the switch BB. The playability is thus much more efficient. Edited January 7, 2014 by steph77 Quote
Jim Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Thanks Jim for ediding my post. I'll try to understand what was wrong. Not sure either. Think it might had something to do with https instead of http. (not tested) This is absolutely not an 42006. Looking at it more closely I notice the differences. I don't own the 42006, so I had to take a good look. Great build! Seems to be raining excavators Quote
Johnny P Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I really like How you made this. I don't think that the clutch gears will live long this way.but there are plenty of them out there . just maybe if there is room you could motorize the cabin tilt and it will be really finished. All and all really nice excavator. Quote
