I have to say I like the idea of a European Forum to discuss Lego. That's not to say our friends from the US and other countries aren't welcome its just that I like the idea of a European site focusing on a European toy. At least that's my perception. That being said, someone will probably extract some statistics to demonstrate that most members are from outside of Europe adespite the name of the site and that the same people frequent all the Lego forums!!

At first i was hesitant about being a member @ EB cause i'm in the US, then i couldn't resist X-D .

That's a good point. I try to answer those types of questions gracefully. I'll try to find the link to the topic of their question after giving the answer, then they my get pointed in the right direction ;-) .

Well I see myself more as an AFOL than eurobricker alone, And I have the feeling there are more and more Afols :-)

I have a friend who doesn't go to any forums and only goes to mocpages and brickshelf. I've encouraged him to join EB but he says he's just too busy :-/

I'm sure there are a lot of AFOLs are like that, more than we might think.

I believe it was said in one of their intro topics that they're friends, and J.J. walkers introduced him to this site. As for the comment about "god help" anyone who asked a question that has already been answered, I find that more often than not, the fact that it's been brought up is mentioned, a link is provided for further discussion, and the topic is closed...people aren't usually yelled at for asking something that's been mentioned before, just asking something that has been asked a thousand times...
