We have been able to finish some of our MOCs which we have been working at. This one is an off-loader crane, where three motors power all the functions. One XL motor drives the main arm lift, grabber rotation, grabber open/close. A geared old style square motor operates the crane rotation, and a m-motor drives the dipper.A pneumatic pump sorts out the rear jacks and a HOG wheel operates the steering. It is a great challenge to play with, but it was nice to get the grabber rotation and open/close powered, instead of a double bevel gear sticking out somewhere.Enjoy. Yep, I could have built a "nicer" crane, but you then end up with a hook instead of a grab. I could have gone all pneumatic for the crane, but that was too easy, and I did want some measure of challenge. The gearbox of the crane is the main structure, and I know it is not overly neat, but it works well, which imo is more important. Thanks for all the comments.
