xenologer Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Because every Space Dock needs maintenance bots to do the dirty work. Factory Link Edit: Larger pics when moderated, thumbnails: Quote
Starwars4J Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I hope you don't take any offense to this, but the MOC is really "cute". I love it *wub* Only thing is, maybe instead of two black droid arms total, have 4-6. //\ || | like this^ Quote
Kahgarak Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Wow,very simple and nicely designed.I like it. Quote
xenologer Posted April 7, 2007 Author Posted April 7, 2007 Thanks! 'cute' is no big surprise, because I was thinking of AlphaTeam DeepSea's TeeVee when I made this. :-D also partly inspired by the ROV minisub from Ocean Odyssey; in fact I made a yellow underwater variation (in real bricks) as an assistant for my AquaRaiders before this Spacey one. Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted April 7, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted April 7, 2007 I was thinking of AlphaTeam DeepSea's TeeVee when I made this. :-D That was also what I was thinking about when I saw your MOC. Lots of details for such a little MOC *y* Quote
zero1312 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Oh, *wub* *sweet* *wub* *sweet* That's so cute!!!!! Quote
Brainbox Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Anyone see the resemblance? Nice MOC. Like everyone else has said, it's cute. I get the impression that may not be a suitable quality of a worker drone. Oh well. *y* Quote

Brainbox Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Hm, that second picture doesn't seem to be working. Anyway what about it do you think needs improvement? My second picture? It works for me. I didn't mean that it needed improving, I meant that being 'cute' perhaps isn't a word that a worker drone would want to be described as. I like it as is. Quote

As for the second picture all I see is a little square that says "www.TFU.info" Does anyone else see it? Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted April 7, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted April 7, 2007 Ah. As for the second picture all I see is a little square that says "www.TFU.info"Does anyone else see it? That's also what I see. What are we supposed to see Mr. Brainbox? Quote
xenologer Posted April 7, 2007 Author Posted April 7, 2007 What are we supposed to see Mr. Brainbox? Apparently the site his image is from doesn't allow remote linking. But if you Cut+Paste this address in a new window it seems to work: http://www.tfu.info/1985/Decepticon/Shrapnel/vehiclemode.jpg Quote

Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted April 7, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted April 7, 2007 Nope, that just gives me a new window with the protection image again... I've solved the mystery. My Firefox gives the msg "The image http://www.tfu.info/protected.gif cannot be displayed, because it contains errors." (right click on the "www.TFU.info"-image --> Properties --> The alternate text contains this msg). But with IE it works. So I could finally see this mysterious image :-D I converted it from .jpeg to .gif so all problems would be fixed and uploaded it to my BS: Quote
Starwars4J Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Ah! Thanks for the trouble, Bonaparte! I don't really see the resemblance, but it's nice to finally see this mystery picture :-P Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted April 7, 2007 Eurobricks Emperor Posted April 7, 2007 Ah! Thanks for the trouble, Bonaparte! I don't really see the resemblance, but it's nice to finally see this mystery picture :-P It was no trouble at all. But I also don't see much resemblance. It must be the "arms" :-D . Quote
zero1312 Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I think he was refering to the arms and the bulkiness of the body. :-/ Quote
Brainbox Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 I think he was refering to the arms and the bulkiness of the body. :-/ Yes, that's correct. I was just reminded of Shrapnel by the bug look. I kind of wish I hadn't bothered now... ;-) Quote
iamded Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 Hehe, that's cool. A nice little worker bot. Awesome. :-D Quote
