1717pikachu Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Bear with me as I am new to LDD and not super tech-savvy. My son would like to email building instructions for a model he just made to a friend. If I attach the HTML file, it opens up from the email as a blank page. I realize that I also need to send the folder containing all the images, but I cannot figure out how to do this. It won't let me attach the whole folder. Surely I don't have to attach each image separately?! Thanks for your help! Quote
Classicsmiley Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 If you have a PDF printer installed, you could "print" the HTML file on your computer, and then email the resulting PDF file. Quote
Jim Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 You can find the folder where the HTML file resides. The images will probably be in the same folder, or a subfolder. You should zip the entire folder, including the images. After that you can send the zip. However installing a PDF printer is a great idea as well. Instead of printing to a printer you print but select the PDF printer. That way a PDF will be created. Download Bullzip PDF printer. Quote
Marckeyh Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 The quality of the HTML plans is pretty bad. The resolution of the images is too low IMO. If this friend installs LDD on his PC, you could just send the LDD file, with the calculated building plan. Quote
Jim Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 That's indeed a very easy solution! Probably the best Quote
