Ok so I realize I'm an American on a European board, but has anyone MOC'd an American Pumper or Ladder(they are vastly different in construction from our counterparts worldwide--except maybe canada)? I was looking for some pointers to flesh things out (i.e. MOC stang/deck guns--hosebeds, intake/relief valves etc)--I was going by the rig that I am assigned to, however some things are not translating.

I currently am using the LDD to work on it but its slow going.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

(also if I stuck this in the wrong section I apologize)

Thanks!

What size do you want to build it in? 6, 8, or 4-wide? and what wheel size? 8-|

I have a gallery myself, feel free to use some ideas from my Ladder 1.

Or you could check out this guy, NBFD841. *wub* He's my big inspiration. :-$ Man, he knows what he's doing. :'-)

Hi!

I tried an American fire-engine myself some time ago, it's in eight-wide and has five 9v lights build-in.

Gee, you're talking to me as if I were an american! :-P I just don't like those small sissies we've got here in Europe! X-D

Thanks btw. :-$

And Simon, I noticed a mistake on your fire truck. On the front, the sign that says "NYFD" should say "FDNY" instead.. X-D ;-)

It does? I must have overlooked that and thought it was like NYPD (police) but fire (F) instead of police (P)

Thanks, I'll change it. :-)

Nice truck! Those are some very cleverly concealed lights, and I love the letter tiles too, great idea. Although I miss the "100 feet". :-P
