Lightningtiger, I really enjoy looking at your MOCS, they're so realistic! Good job.

Thanks 'Sir Bricklalot', there will be more tomorrow......like the barbers shop for starters......yep, bitten by the building bug again !

Keep watching !

You always deliver great moc's, LT. And the interiors and all the little details are really what stands out for me!

Here's that w-i-p image I promised earlier tonight.....

I did take my 1950's barber shop and modernised it for NM.....notice the modern tilt on the counter.....the grey box section forms part of the next buildings wall.....the old car dealer/garage.

More of course to come on the barber shop......hopefully tomorrow I can finish it......keep watching !

I discovered tonight that a town in Victoria has a barbers shop right next door to a car dealer ( Kyabram )......I should get a start on the car dealership building tomorrow....keep watching !

Wow...someone tie this man down....your an MOC machine. The barber shop addition is really nicely done.

A car dealership...excellent...we do love it when LT flexes his car MOC-ing muscles :) ... a pick-up dealership? :)

Thanks 'gazumpty' for your kind words, it's going to be a.......TOYOTA dealership plus CBC bearings agent and Stihl chain saw dealer too.

I have discovered some dealerships in rural NSW that fit the bjll perfectly for inspiration.....they are amongst other rows of shops in main streets, but the fun part is picking a final design for it that's the problem. I'll update with fresh images A.S.A.P.

Keep watching !

Footnote - Yeah, I've been bitten by the MOCing bug !

Love it! It's like the small towns in NZ - but less hippy stuff. It's looking very masculine - I would've been tempted to make the hairdresser for women's hair, or unisex (Like Super Cutz). You need to find a part that can make those giant green wrapped silage bales for Landmark!

Thanks 'LWT', I might still do a ladies hairdresser as well......you know I've been bitten by the MOCing bug !

Keep watching !

Just a quick written update tonight......front walls up on the Toyota dealership and I have started transferring items from two other MOC's to fit out the dealership.....I have to design a Toyota 4x4 ute to go in the showroom - keep watching !

The barbershop looks great and I'm looking forward to the garage, too. :sweet:

Thanks 'Only Sinner', I hope to join sections today to complete the main part of the Toyota dealer.......you might ask why Toyota ?

Two reasons.....one they are not like GM or Ford and have thumbed their noses at Aussie workers by planned closures of their factories and two.....I drive a Toyota !

Keep watching !

I was wondering how my new hardware store design should look like ?

Maybe something like this.....

Or like this.....

Perhaps this kind of design......an old car dealer into hardware store....

Maybe this......

Should I stay with Mitre 10 or not ?

What does everyone think ?

(I must order parts for the Toyota dealership to finish the front wall.)

Keep watching !

Well, due to lack of interest....I've decided on the first store pictured above......now to design it.....and it's going to have some new original ideas in it......so please keep watching !

Thanks 'monsinjor', oh.....Stihl.....that sign and rack piece is a few years old now......I had custom a sign from an image of a real one and use LDD to make a Lego chain saw similar to what a Stihl would look like.

A slight change in the Toyota dealership's building design will mean it will be finished sooner so the hardware store can be started......keep watching !

I liked the hardware store with the wheelbarrows out front (pic 2) - that's what I'm used to in small towns, wheelbarrows parked out front with 'clearance' items and stuff displayed on the street, then brought in every night. Usually in those shops with tiny aisles that you have to squeeze down and shelves stacked way up high!

Tomorrow Shearer Toyota will be complete minus a vehicle and New Mannum True Value hardware will be under way.......I'm having fun right now designing signs and other stickers.....keep watching !

Footnote - Any fresh suggestions are always welcome and I just noticed 'LukeWarmTea'.....thanks for the feedback.....it doesn't matter which design I go with - there will be wheel barrows out the front and there will be narrow aisles.....just like in the drapery store (LOWES)......totally keep watching !
