More 10182 Cafe Corner mods

Hey all!

I've decided to join the masses in posting pics of my 10182 Cafe Corner. I made a couple of adjustments. The windows and the cornice on the second floor really bugged me. I replaced the glass-less windows (Can you figure out how I did it?) and replaced the frown (fake + brown=frown) cornice with tan. The frown looked a little too much like wood to me. I also made the third level window ledge a little thicker...

Although I made modifications, I think this is one of the best designed LEGO sets ever produced! It really is amazing.

Really clever putting those 4 wide windows partly behind the walls! (at least that's what I think you did...) I'll copy that when I buy this set. Great idea.

Cool idea with hiding half the windows, but doesn't doing this ruin the wallpaper patern inside?

Totally agree with you! Nice mods, very well done! This set is really a must have, and just few modifications give it a personal touch.

Yeah, it kills the "wallpaper pattern" but I put some columns in front of the other halves of the windows.
