Hrafn Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 the shop that i usually bought pieces from liked my mocs and asked me if i wanna do some exposition with them...now i have 40% discount on every piece i buy :P there's a chance that the shop that is sponsoring me may want to "produce" this model so i got asked from them to make instructions so they can order the pieces and sell instructions + pieces all at once...obviously i'll let you know if this is going to happend :) if it will be so, it could be probably a nice thing as you may get in a single unofficial set an RC motor, a lipo and a servo ahah but i will surely need to clean some parts of the model and make them more elegant so it's not something in the imediate future :) btw you guys are all so nice at me :D That would be awesome, but where would they get all the RC motors? Those things are expensive secondhand. Quote
piterx Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 the guy from the shop told me that if i'll be quick in making instructions he'll be able to order a stock of 20 RC motors :) tomorrow i'll start making instructions ^^ Quote
selfshot Posted December 3, 2013 Posted December 3, 2013 Great work, it inspired me to make a trophy truck for myself as well. I have two questions though; 1) How did you / did you have to solve the gear slipping from differential issue? That seems to be a great problem for me when using differentials the same way. Either one of the gears on one side in the differential slips out. 2) Did you get the rims chromed? Thanks! Quote
piterx Posted December 3, 2013 Author Posted December 3, 2013 thanks mate ^^ quite complicated to write it down! tomorrow i'll remember to take a picture of it :) basically on the axle that connects the gear to the wheel, there's a bush between two beams...it prevents the axle from detaching from the diff gear :) yeah i sprayed the rims with a silverchrome paint :D Quote
jg711 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 yes, yes very nice build! i order all of my parts from lego at bricklink. I got my RC buggy motor for only 20 euros. But anyway its very nice!!! Quote
