Wodanis Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 (edited) Hi everyone, So I really loved the design of the Lego bridge from the 2013 Copenhagen show. So I decided to recreate it in LDD from 3 photos I had for reference. (found them on-line) Seeing as how the photos comprised of two versions of the walkways and platforms it took me the weekend to create it without further points of reference. I will likely add more flair to it later but I wanted to share and see how people like it? I am thinking I will recreate the initial overpass bridge in real life when I figure out the cost. Kristel Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Looks great so far! Just one thing .. the window between the bench seat and flowers looks out of place. Quote
timmyc1983 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Oh yeah, I can see why you liked the design, both sections are pretty cool!! Looks great so far! Just one thing .. the window between the bench seat and flowers looks out of place. Is this meant to be a screen with train times on it?? I look forward to seeing a brick built version, happy building Quote

Actually there is suppose to be a sticker with train times and map on the window panel. Oh yeah, I can see why you liked the design, both sections are pretty cool!! Also there will be bicycles for the grate near the stair case but I couldn't add them in LDD (to mount on the grate). I've yet to put in the street lights and traffic lights as well. The idea was to place the modular buildings near this bridge. Edited November 19, 2013 by Wodanis Quote
