"New soup on old bones". Some of you guys might say that about this presentation; and you would be right; Not much new to see here. This is mostly a collection of some reconstructions/modifications/borrowing of previous models, styles and tecniques...

These are some of the compenents of the upcoming "One Big MOC 2". (mind you; not to confuse with the MegaMOC 2013!)

First off, yet another rendition of my favorite 2CV.

This time as an authentic delivery-truck for the spanish company "Panrico";

Next, the lovely Ford Capri returns. It has been completely rebuild, and finally I have solved a problem I had with the rear of it -some years ago. (Curiously enough it only took a moment to figure out what I then could not solve in DAYS, when I originally built it...)

dsc06156.jpg

dsc06172.jpg

It is now one plate shorter in the front, and 1,5 plates shorter at the rear, making it much more true to the original prototype...

I have also reversed-engineered MJaspers lovely Mercedes. This is MY version of it;

dsc06170.jpg

I´ve included a photo of the clever front. I dont think I have seen anybody discolse how it is done. I did it using 2x3 wedgeplates...

And now, for a "Friendly" bus;

dsc06173.jpg

Thanks to all the "Friends" for the Bright Cyan...

A nice 50´ies-60´ies truck (In medium blue);

dsc06169.jpg

Oops! It seems that the blue building in the background has been very nice focused by the camera! (Yes, I blame the electronics in my camera, of course!)

The Citroën DS20 in beige (sorry; "tan") colour;

dsc06160.jpg

The VW T1 slightly modified...

dsc06161.jpg

The Plymouth Fury also re-appears. This time with correct transclear headlights. (Less evil-looking);

dsc06162.jpg

What is this... a joke¿? -A costum based on a 2CV¿? Gotta be kidding?!

dsc06163.jpg

The forklift from the One Big MOC some 4 years ago has been rebuild for this ocasion;

A Citroën Type H van in glazier version;

Sorry to all german polizei-fans. This was NOT intentional... :-/

A transporter-truck, for some of my (many) 2CVs;

And finally a "sneak-peak" of the WIP at One Big MOC 2;

That´s all for now!

Well done, Hoexbroe! These all look wonderful, and I really like the half-stud difference from the body to the roof on each side of the Ford Capri. After that, my favourite is the DS - the windscreen wipers for that car are really clever.

Another person who raises the bar........AWESOME vehicles.....that donut van is my favourite of your designs ever......second would be the red Ford Capri......love it ! :grin:

Now I can't wait to see your factory 'Hoexbroe'......keep them coming and Brick On ! :grin:

As always some lovely builds here, I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished big MOC! The DS is particularly nice, and the Type H is great, especially the side with the windows. You really have a thing for Citroëns, don't you? I don't blame you. I grew up with a BX, a CX and an XM - all very nice cars, in their own way :)

Wow, fantastic vehicles there, all of them!! My favourite is the yellow donut van, it's so cute :D and I really lie the bus and the Ford Capri as runners up!

I can't wait to see your big layout, it so far looks amazing, happy building :laugh:

That donut 2CV really brings back childhood memories. I should build it in white/tan and show it to my brother. See if he remembers us jumping up and down on it as small kids. Our uncle told us our aunt was going to sent it to the scrap yard so we could use it as a trampoline. When our aunt saw us doing our thing, lets put it like this she went :damn:. Uncle sorted it out and we had a blast.

Love the T1, DS20 (aka pike or snoek in Dutch) and friends bus also.

Thanks for all great inspiration!

Also out of curiosity what was the problem you had on the Ford Capri?

The back part was too long! This one is 1,5 plates shorter. (As mentioned, also the front was shortened 1 plate, although that was not a "problem-area")

Actually... I dont!!! I know that it must sound strange, with all those Citroën-thingies I keep pumping out, but it is just a coincidence of me having been lucky in reproducing their characteristic shapes. These cars are much better than anything else I have done, so I have just stayed with them, trying to incorporate them into bigger dio´s.

I dont own a Citroën. Havent owned one ever, and dont have any plans for owing one... (Now I also have to include that Idont have anything AGAINST them either. LOL)

The whole dio will be presented at the end of this month. At the HispaLUG Expo 2013 in Madrid.

Oh wow, these are all great cars, but that Plymouth Fury is awesome. It might just be my natural love for cars of that style, but that is just beautiful! Any place I could see more pictures of that?

Oh no, those bones never get old ... It's always nice to see them again or rather variations of them. And I like the idea of renewing and improving things. Sometimes you get a new idea after years or there is a new part that allows things that weren't possible before.

Since you know that I am a big fan of your cars I don't have to repeat my praise upon all of them here. But that bus - which must be new, I guess? - is just amazing, those colors, curves and patterns really meet the style of an old-fashioned bus, maybe from the Sixties.

One aspect that strikes me is the fact that a bus and a full-size car like the Plymouth have the same width in your preferred scale - that's exactly my idea concerning that matter ...

Anyhow looking forward to the Big MOC - a railway station?

Thanks. I quite agree that the bus could have been 7-wide. But my collection of bright cyan pieces didnt allow me too much margin. (Also the small train is already 7-wide) So again; Lots of comprimises...

It´s NOT a railway station. Nice try! ;-)

Oh well, that would have been too obvious ... :wink:

Regarding the question of width I was quite serious - it seems to be working although you wouldn't think so before. I had a similar problem and came to the same conclusion: a bus is as wide as a full-size car (7w in my preferred scale).
