Cracked bricks in architecture sets?

I recently noticed that, while looking at my copy of set 21002 empire state building, some bricks were cracked.

however, the cracks are only visible when the bricks are connected.

Has anyone else noticed this problem? With this set or others?

I have the same problem, with the very same set... At least 5 or 6 cracked bricks. The set has been built once and has been sitting on my desk since. I have experienced cracked bricks before (mostly cheese slopes) but never as bad as this.

I've noticed cracks in white bricks more often than with other colors. Coincidence or does the process of coloring the bricks white weaken it more than other colors?

I would suggest you contacting TLG customer service. I guess they will solve your problem and you'll get brand new bricks!!!! This is not normal to have brand new cracked bricks!
