dokludi Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Building finished (Under 4 nights)!! There is not a manual version. Only PF Some pictures: More pictures (High Resulation): http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=535503 VIDEO SOON!!! Quote
D3K Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 That is pretty cool, and all from one picture! Can't wait to see how it looks compared to the actual model, once we get some more pics! Underbelly shot? Quote
Junpei Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 That's amazing Dokludi, how do you do that? I do think the cab is a bit too far forward though. Quote
skriblez Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 That is very well done out of one picture! Quote
Jim Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Very well done! The cab is indeed a bit too far forward and it's too low, since the new tires are bigger. But I am impressed nonetheless! Quote
jantjeuh Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 (edited) How the hell did you create that from just two low-res pictures? Crazy. Well done! Still not a fan of the looks of the model though, but that's TLG's fault, not yours Edited October 28, 2013 by jantjeuh Quote
Jim Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Looking at the picture more closely I noticed that the cab is one stud higher than the rear of the truck. Quote
Freekysch Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Have to admit, looks better than i imagined, i may just buy it. The cabs design looks poor, but overall, it is a nice little set (thanks god it comes without PF, but too bad it does not have Pneumatics). Well done Dokludi ! Quote
shimon Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 Nice replica. Few things I have to mention; the black gear does not switch functions but allows mechanical operation and the clutch is from the left side activated by the yellow connector as seen in the small pic, cabin seems 1 stud forward and the bley connectors below the door aren't the part you used but, as long as it looks good and works I guess it's fine, good job! I also like to make replicas can't wait for other set pics. Quote
Timoonn Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 (edited) where is the gearbox command? Edited October 28, 2013 by Timoonn Quote
dokludi Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 Thanks All. I repair the mistakes!! Quote
dokludi Posted November 7, 2013 Author Posted November 7, 2013 Evo 2 ready. New pictures: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=535958 Video: Quote
Anio Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Good work. You captured the model very well, especially with only 2 pics. 2 things compared to the original set : - your chassis seems a bit flimsy - in the second mode, the dump can go further. Quote
Freekysch Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Aren't the 2 back wheels a little far apart from each other ? Otherwise, very good work. I think i will buy this model. Quote
MrNumbskull13 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Aren't the 2 back wheels a little far apart from each other ? Otherwise, very good work. I think i will buy this model. The new tires would fill that space. Quote
TinkerBrick Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Great work. Nice video. I can image this set has quite some play value combined with a small/medium sized loader or excavator. @ dokludi You don't happen to have an assembled 8052 for a size comparison, do you? Quote
bacem Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 wow! great job! this is really great job of reverse-engineering. Quote
