grego18f Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) Hi! This is the fist time I post a MOC here: a Corvette Z06. The real: Specifications: - Engine: V8/ 505-hp; -0-60 mph: 3.6s; -top speed: 198.4 mph; -gearbox: 6 speed manual; And now my version: It has a 6 speed gearbox based on Crowkiller's Porsche 997, a handbrake, steering with HOG and remonte cockpit. . And others on my BS gallery: http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=535446 If you have some comments, ideas to improve this, dont hesitate Hope you will enjoy. Edited October 25, 2013 by grego18f Quote
Rishab N Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Looks very realistic!Did you use a custom part to hold the front flex axles? Quote
grego18f Posted October 25, 2013 Author Posted October 25, 2013 Looks very realistic!Did you use a custom part to hold the front flex axles? Thanks No, I just don't have the part in red, so I used red scotch. Quote
jantjeuh Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Good job! Nice use of panels and soft axles for the contouring. Quote
rm8 Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 (edited) Cool supercar. And looks like Corvette! But is it really hard to post pictures here? Brickshelf is always so slow...:( and dont use bright colorful background like lego boxes!;) Edited October 25, 2013 by Blakbird : Removed oversized images. Quote
grego18f Posted October 25, 2013 Author Posted October 25, 2013 thanks. I will take pics with a white background in the futur. Yes, my pics are too heavy on BS, il will compress everything. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Nice car,it looks very close to the real thing. Quote
Blakbird Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Excellent MOC! I'm not sure I have seen a Z06 before although Jurgen's Sunbeam is a type of Corvette. Eurobricks image size limit is 1024 pixels, but I recommend using Bricksafe for your image hosting. It has an option to link to its images at whatever size you want, so you could easily post them here at 1024 or below. Quote

gmshades Posted November 5, 2013 Posted November 5, 2013 Being a chevy man, this is a great moc! Only flaw I see is that on corvettes, the hood hinges at the nose and flips forward. Quote
