Is there a parts list for the train engine alone? The full parts list is easy to find online, but I want to see what parts that goes in the engine alone.

I hope someone has made such a list.

Thank you

Not sure that list exists. You can get the instructions from Brickset and just take notes while you step through...

I am not aware of anyone having done that. If me, I would download the instructions from Lego.com and print out the part list pages. Then take count of which part is used on the printout when stepping through the build instructions of the engine on the computer screen.

Hi,

You could download an LXF file and run it through LDD Manager, that will give a part list of whatever you create within LDD.

You don't even need LDD manager, you can use the "Export BOM" in LDD to generate a list of parts (BOM = Bill Of Materials)

Cool ! - I didn't even know that command was there, thanks for the tip

It then becomes an XLS file so you will need some sort of spreadsheet of course (but nowadays you can even use online software if you don't have Excel installed).
