I was making a post, and I brung up an idea for a instruction page (how to build it).I've been thinking that it's a good idea. What do you think?

Could you explain a bit more how you would organize such an instruction page (=thread?) Mr. Tully?

And please give this thread a more relevant title and description. The title "New Topic" is not very meaningful ;-) .

You can do this by updating your first post or I can do that for you if you tell me what it should be.

What type of instructions are you referring to, Mr. Tully? Hand-made MOC instructions or scans of the Official Lego set instructions? If you refer to the later, you would need permission from the Lego group, as the work is copywrited, so you'll be better off just visiting Brickfactory or PICSL.

What exactly do you mean? I have the feeling you'd like to know how to make your own instructions (for MOCs?) and that this topic will be used for the instructions?

Am I right?

Oh, and Bonaparte... A "normal user" is not capable of editing his topics title or descpription. Tested it on another IPB forum.. So I guess it's up to one of us if Mr Tully doesn't show up in a day or 2 again! :-D

Aha! I wasn't 100% certain. Everyday I learn something new ;-)

Now I go to bed. Last night I only slept 5,5 hours which is really not enough for me.

Did you know that by the time I write this, Mr. Phes is already sleeping for 2 hours! I guess he will be waking up in about 6 hours.

Why am I writing this? Just keeping Mr. Tully's thread alive until he returns with more instructions :-D

That's good reason to post Mr Bonaparte! Anyway, I need sleep too, and I'm going to bed right now... Luckily I have to go to school one our later than normally

That's right Mr Tiber, but if Mr Tully want his information he'll have to come back sooner, or maybe even later.

Well... any, but I was first reffering to the hand made MOC's.

Well just give the title and discription a good "thing".

And orginization? Sort into 5 groups: Pirates, Imperal Guards (Blue Coats), Imperal Soldiers(Red Coats), Imperal Armada, and Islanders.

So something like "Instruction page for MOCs"??

Are you suggesting this thread become an index of MOC instructions sorted into the above categories?

We should probably see how many Instructions are out there before putting them into groups.

If we were to make a MOC Instruction index, this should be the discussion page, or the first person to post would have to make the index similar to the MOC islander index. or something along those lines.

I'm guessing there aren't too many instructions out there for ppl's mocs. The only one i know of is Kurt's Black Pearlite MOC. Although i could be wrong :-$ .

So it would probably make more sense to have a setup similar to the MOC Islander Index.

Is it possible to change the order of the posts on a thread to have whoever is going to maintain this index as the first post?

You're right. I suggest we use this thread for collecting all the instructions that are available.

So later we can see if there is a need for more organization.

Here is a link to the MOC Black Pearl Thread of Kurt which contains instructions.

I don't think that is possible. It will be up to Mr. Tully ;-)

Alas no. But we have a Master Index Builder now who can edit anyone's post. ;-)

Mr. Tully, as a general remark, you should try to write some more lines in your posts.

Try to avoid putting just a single sentence and describe a bit clearer what you are trying to say.

Let's say you put at least 3 sentences in each post ;-)

I don't know what you are talking about.

I don't know what you don't understand.

So don't be afraid to use a few more words!

Still no clue.

And, My Assistant already told me. And like now. I'm doing more words. :-D

We have some communication problems here which need to be solved, not being able to understand written English when English is your first lanuage makes it very difficult for yourself and others.

Like Bonaparte said you're going to have to take more time writing your posts so you can clearly explain what you mean, otherwise we can't understand what you're writing.

Kool, so the Master Index Build has super powers too! 8-o

Sweet! *y*

Just a suggestion Tully:

If i'm only going to give a online reply, I always put the quote (or part of the quote) right before my reply so ppl know right away what im talking about, especially the person i'm talking too.

I see you're already doing it on some posts. Just need to do it more often i guess :-$ .

Is this index thread going to go anywhere? Is it worth developing like our other indexes?

Right now, this thread only contains 1 link to the instructions of a pirate MOC.

If we could find more instructions, it would be worthwhile developing this index like the others.

Especially for smaller creations, users might be tempted to try some instructions. You sentry box is a good example.

So, does anyone have instructions that could be added to this index?
