My first post in the Space and Mecha forum, yay! I'm here to present my new MOC: the UH-561, or Pegasus(but soldiers refer to it as Peggy).

Background:

The idea for the Pegasus came from the need of a fast, capable and last but not least: cheap dropship to drop the soldiers in the killing fields and then get out of Megabloks fast. Several deserted Imperial technicians worked two years on the design of the Pegasus, which is based on the Imperial Gunship. The end result is a small, cheap and easily produced vehicle. It can hold up to one squad of ~7 Rebel soldiers and a pilot. The Pegasus saw it's first action in the Battle of New 'Nam (19.067 AD) between the Rebels and the Imperials and performed perfectly, the campaign was a success.

I only have one picture at the moment, but more will come tommorow, when my Internet goes at normal speed again *sweet* .

I would say: C & C welcome, but there isn't much to comment on yet :-P .

Its quite an interesting picture, how have you edited?

I'm guessing you built a MOC, photographed, removed the background and applied a "Pop Artequse" filter to it. Then you've gone and got a photographic image and added some kind of texture filter to it.

Yep, you're almost completely right. I added the background to the cutted-out pic first and then gave it the "comic" look ;-) .

For the interested people, here's the link to the folder, containing more pics. Until it gets published, here are some teasers:

^--They're not mating, it's just a comparison pic between the Imperial Gunship* and the Pegasus.

*I know it belongs to the Republic in SW, but in my Universe, it is an imperial craft ;-) .

Looks very nice, good use of different grays. *y*

Yeah, I used different greys because it makes the model look 'cheaper' and dirtier.

Nice. *y*

Might I suggest though that you put some handles or a net to hold on to in the cargo bay. It just looks a bit... well, unsafe.

I don't see the purpose of putting a net there, it would slow the whole unloading and uploading process down and we can't allow that to happen ;-) . Besides real life chopper don't have nets on the sides, too :-P .
