Can you or someone provide us with some sort of screen grab of this?

I searched "xbox ninjago lloyd" on Youtube and found it. It shows some shots we have not seen before:

Lloyd fights "Smoke Guy," generates a green dragon (while everyone else can be seen parachuting over the island), fights a female Elemental Master dressed in purple, and gets thrown back in an explosion. Lloyd can be seen in his Tournament Robes, his new ZX variant robes (what are they actually called?), and possibly in his DX robes. It could be that the Jade Blades pass hands very quickly over the course of the tournament, but the Elemental Master in purple had one when she fought Lloyd, so there may be more than just the four we know of.

We've known for a while that there are several Jade Blades.

Someone uploaded the videos! Each little video ends in some interesting Trivia. A brief summary of worthwhile information is below.

Cole

-Cole attended Marty Oppenheimer for only two days.

-When Cole was a child, his friend jokingly called him "Cole Bucket."

-Cole's favorite color is orange (just wanted to point out that another bit of media spotlighted this fact)

Jay

-When Jay uses his electricity powers at maximum, he produces 1.21 Gigawatts

Kai

-For the first two months of his life, his parents called him ash.

-Kai forged a weapon called a "swingana"-half yo-yo/half sword.

There is no trivia on Lloyd or Zane. Kai, Jay, and Cole's videos are the character videos from the Ninjago website.

Those descriptions have been available on the NINJAGO website since sometime around December 2013. Dangit, "Smoke Dude"'s powers are awesome. Out of all the elemental powers we've seen so far, his seems to be the most useful by far, he has the ability to materialize and dematerialize at will; stronger than invisibility, arguably better than speed, etc. There's obviously some downsides, he's probably got a really puffed up (no pun intended) sense of pride over his abilities. Buuut, that's only based on what I know, so the plot is probably going to bring something in (wind element, lol) to counter-act him.

EDIT:

Alright, it's super-random-theory-that-I-haven't-spent-much-time-on time! Just a warning, this is based on a single line spoken by Garmadon. (or in other words, probably false)

-Garmadon mentions on the paddle boat that "everyone on board is a descendant of an Elemental Master. Does this apply to Clouse and the thugs as well?

-Lloyd and Griffin are in the third generation of their families, both are grandson to a "Master" of some sort. Given that Griffin is clearly older than Lloyd (which actually partly confirms my idea that Lloyd was born late in Garmadon's life, and that he's only been evil for a few years), it may apply to Kai, Jay, Cole and Nya, and more or less everyone else in NINJAGO. A fourth generation could have even been born by this point.

-Chen and Clouse are old enough to have been Garmadon's mentors at some point. If what Garmadon said earlier is correct, Clouse is at the very least a descendant of an Elemental Master. Assuming they are Elemental Masters, and seeing as they're masters in dark arts (and because NINJAGO loves to take a twist on stuff BIONICLE did), maybe they betrayed the First Spinjitzu Master (Garmadon was clearly disgusted enough with them to leave Chen's island) and as a consequence they were involved in the development of the Serpentine? The Anacondrai are the most feared of all the serpentine, and from what we've seen so far they share a lot of traits with Pythor.

One final thing. What I'm about to say basically nullifies any theorizing I did about what Garmadon said, but what if Cole, Jay and Kai are not descendants of Elemental Masters? Their powers, at first, came from the Golden Weapons, then the Elemental Blades. Now their powers have come from Lloyd, who "inherited" them simply because he came from the First Spinjitzu Master.

No, Garmadon said Nya has powers. Kai really is descendant of fire guardian.

About snakes, in one youtube video, there was a screenshot of book/or whatever description which says there was a Serpentine war, Chen fought alongside Wu and Garmadon as a sensei but then betrayed humans and joined Anacondrai (which is why Anacondrai cult exists now)

Oh, right. Forgot about that little part regarding Nya. Well, I did say I hadn't really worked on those very much. Can you get a source on that video, though?

So, what have we got. Skylor can steal powers, Garmadon is Chen's old.... slave? Claus can use dark magic, and Jay is nude!:laugh:

I... uh... wow. It's dissapointing to see that the cultists really are just going to be a mindless thug army. But overall, I'm REALLY looking forward to the episode 36 now.

That ninth picture though... ew.

Oh, brilliant. I just realized the reason we thought Karlof's name was Hanlan was simply because that's what it looked like on the box. It actually IS Karlof on the Dojo Showdown box.

Y'know, after seeing the start (new intro is awesome, remix of the remix is not), I'm really glad that the writers are letting the characters themselves ask questions about "why has X happened when Y said this?", but it's not enough to do that and still leave the mystery unexplained *cough* stone armor *cough*

It's a very fast episode. It was really enjoyable towards the middle, but I found that it kind of bounced up and down from there. The end was a bit of a let-down, unfortunately. I'd say it's not as good as the first episode of the new season but it's not terrible, either. Not exactly concerned over this, these are the first two episodes and required for the backstory. But there's most certainly better "introduction part 2" episodes, like Home or The Day Ninjago Stood Still.

Chen IS after the elemental powers. Karlof has been knocked out of the Tournament, Kai played somewhat dirtily to win and Garmadon isn't impressed. I was hoping Karlof would stay for longer, there was clearly a rivalry between him and Kai. Nothing new about Zane just yet, other than that he's without elemental powers. Explains why they can contain him. No news on PIXAL, either. I'm almost certainly wrong about Skylor being, willingly or unwillingly, sided with Chen.

I do like that they took the time to let the characters question Garmadon about some plot-holes, but it's not good enough to do that and not explain the other longstanding plot holes, like "why did the ninja only unlock their powers with the Golden Weapons/Lloyd?". There's still the question of why the Stone Armor stopped working in the middle of episode 34.

Finally, Chen allied himself with the Serpentine at some point. Details on it are kinda weird and sketchy, but there's a chance that the Serpentine really were lying about being good all along.

Kai has a really awesome suite, so does Jay. Chen is easily one of, if not the worst, villain the show has had. He's crazy, but not sadistically psychotic like the Overlord after he possessed Garmadon. Chen is smart and can coordinate, but he seems to rely on his henchmen too much and even Clouse is doing better than that. There's nothing about Chen that's anything unique or notable, other than his weird obsession with terrible theatrics. I really want them to develop him, but I can't exactly see them doing much better with this kind of an introduction. Unless his ultimate plan has something to do with poisoning Ninjago with noodles (or worse yet, turning the noodles into tiny snakes and conquering it that way  ) I can't see him being too big of a threat outside of the island.

Okay, the

green dragon is very interesting, but it looks awfully similar to the golden dragon. It's got the same smoky, incorporeal aesthetic, it seems to be a wyvern as well, and the only major difference I can spot is the split tail, and I'm not even sure whether the golden dragon didn't have that as well. It might just be the golden dragon after Lloyd gets a power boost or drain, or it may simply be the result of the surroundings.

On the subject of that giant purple snake: it's rather hard to take it seriously when it's eyes are puppy-dog size. Clouse and Chen are both not all too smart, considering that they needed a scrap of cloth to determine who the intruders were and that they couldn't just figure it out from the fact that Lloyd's green outfit stuck out like a sore thumb in the crowd. On the other hand, Chen's plan seems to be the most logical one any of Ninjago's villains have had: drain any competitors of their ability to fight you, whilst becoming more powerful yourself. Calling it now: Chen either tries to absorb Skylor's powers and her power causes him to end up drained himself or she simply wins the competition and drains him right before he tries to double-cross her.

I really enjoyed that episode, and it's made me more intrigued to see what happens next,

I agree that Chen isn't that good of a villain, it kind of makes me think that we'll get Pythor revealed to be the big bad of the season in a few episodes. I also think that Skylar will play a key part in defeating the Anacondrai, Chen has a staff that can absorb powers and Skylar just happens to have the same power.

Speaking of that staff, did anyome else feel sorry for Karlof when Chen took his powers? They'll probably get their powers restored by the end of the season but is was sad to see.

(Also, the trapdoor feature in the Dojo Showdown set actually has story relevance.)

And that leads to another question, what is going on in Chen's 'factory'?

I just realized something interesting.

When we first saw the Ultra-Agents character Anti-Matter, I immediately planned him to use him as a placeholder for Omega in my future Prison Planet X4 MOC, since he was the only non-licensed LEGO villain that incorporated a hood into his costume. Ultra Agents is having at least a character cameo, if not a direct name-drop, in Ninjago, which has already directly referenced Clutch Powers. Now, it could just be me, but a powerful villain who can transform people into their evil duplicates seems like a bit more of a priority to put in a super-max prison than a space biker. And, if the themes are connected, even by the loosest of cameos...

Of course, then again, there is the part where the two cameos are supposed to be descendants of the original Elemental Masters, which would contradict my theory, right, since the villains were created by Anti-Matter?

Actually, no. The only back-story we're given for the two is for Invisible, who is descended from the Elemental Master of Light. Which actually makes sense for his character, because what sort of person would you be that would have their character inverted to become invisible? The opposite of blending in is standing out - which, unless you're the hero of a story, is typically a bad thing.

And as for Toxita, unless I missed it, she wasn't given a back-story. Garmadon himself admitted that he didn't know half of the people aboard the ship. Sure, she may not have elemental powers in UA - but have we actually seen her exhibit any powers thus far? Granted, it's pushing a bit, but think about the other characters we've seen. Elemental Singer Guy with Afro needs a guitar-like instrument to use his element. Karloff may not need, but is certainly aided by his metal fists. Is there any reason why Toxita couldn't be using some sort of technology to boost any abilities she has with (I'm assuming) acid to the point of near-elemental powers?

Granted, it's a stretch. I'm just saying, they interlock well, and having Omega be Anti-Matter is getting to be a slightly less far-fetched an idea than it was when I first suggested it.

I have a feeling that Karloff will be a recurring character, especially if there was a physical minifig made after him...

The Golden Dragon had the split tail in-set, on-screen and "in-legend".

Yeah, I was guessing the same about Skylor but so much about her makes zero sense whatsoever. How did she learn of her powers? Why is there a painting of Chen on her wall? Why does she wear a similar outfit to Zane? And how did Chen make a staff that can absorb elemental powers?

Speaking of that staff, did anyome else feel sorry for Karlof when Chen took his powers?

I have no real liking for Karlof, but even for me that scene did make me feel bad for him.

I'll just leave this here: http://m.cartoonnetw...date=2015-01-31

Yeah, we already knew about that, sorry. However, that makes Chen an even worse villain. Now,

not only does he have no motive or real goal, the only goal he actually has he's going to give away. Unless he double-crosses the winner and steals their power anyway, if he could just go around Ninjago and find everyone with elemental powers (and contain them), why the heck didn't he just send his thugs around Ninjago, steal people's powers and bring them to the island? Then again, he won't even bother breaking his "banishment" (which means Garmadon is still far better no matter the plan Chen has) so any point about his intelligence being above 70 is moot.

But the question is, how did Skylor learn she could absorb powers? Was she sitting in the bathtub one day one suddenly all the water disappeared? Did she accidentally suck the life out of Bruce Wayne's parents? etc.

Probably that second one.

That's not what I'm talking about, Cagast. That comes after she's learned how to use her powers, and is in the process of using them. How did she discover her powers, and hone them? We haven't seen her use any powers other than copying and fire, so she hasn't used them too much.
