LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Hello everyhone, after my holidays I've finished my last creation, this time I present the famous German diesel shunter called: KÖF My model is a replica of the amazing work done by the EB member "dtomsen": http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=82748 As usual in my models this locomotive has real lights to give a touch of realism! Enjoy the show! - May I have a free ride for my pretzel? - Surely lady! Quote

Daedalus304 Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Really great engine there, LT12V! Before the video I did not look close enough to realize that it was motorized, very impressive! Having the skills to hook your engines up to a 9v battery and avoid the bulky LEGO battery boxes really opens up a lot of options for you, and you certainly take advantage of every one! Quote
Hey Joe Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Hey, looks great with the new tower. Love the lights. I'd like to get more photos and/or info about the batteries. Joe Quote
Duq Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Nice build! That's a great addition to the ever expanding LEGO KoF family! Quote
Selander Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 These small, yet powered, shunters are amongst my favorite builds. Nice integration job, LT12V !! Quote

Rob Klingberg Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Excellent job, LT12V! The Kof is one of my favorite little engines, and you have replicated it beautifully. I especially like the lights! (Lights are always one of my favorite features of trains) If you would be interested in some smaller pre-mounted SMD LEDs that would fit inside the headlight bricks without visible wires, let me know. I'd be happy to send you a couple! --Rob Quote
monsinjor Posted September 30, 2013 Posted September 30, 2013 Lovely engine LT12V!!! I also love that building. Great work again! Quote
