Sweet to see those two t. metallic pieces confirmed!

"Cockpit with ballsnap"..looks like I might have been right, the Machines use standard Hero builds, with the head and torso plate replaced by a cockpit/shell hybrid. The cockpit piece is much smaller than I thought however (which is good, I guess).

But the lower part...wait. The pictures show JB and SP with black lower jaws, while their upper jaw/head pieces in their main colour(s). Maybe in the final version, all Beasts follow Flyer Beast's colour scheme- that is, upper jaw+head in black and lower jaw in their main colour?

Either way this does confirm that azure is being used on SP: I guess one head is tr. orange and the other one is azure, while his bones are transparent like the other 2 Beasts.

for some reason the pictures didn't appear at all. can you show some screenshot, for the cockpit, at least?

There are no pics. It's quite rare for pics to show up on the Customer Service site before the sets are released.

You should probably try and get closer or get glasses!

Did anyone count the amount of new feet ?

Ehm..I would've replied with "What are you talking about? There's only one new foot piece!", but then I looked at the pics again. So..Jaw Beast might have smaller version of the new Mecha Dragon feet, with only one liftarm sticking from the back rather than two. Otherwise I have no clue.

Speaking of the new feet, the S@H pics of the Dragon show them very well. L. Credit to Aanchir for finding them. I can't wait to get my hands on those pieces!

*takes very close look at Splitter Beast* I see the feet from Jaw Beast wrapped around the chest of Splitter Beast, which kind of supports the whole split function the name implies.

You may be right. I had interpreted that as some kind of suspension, but I suppose on a model this size, a splitting function could be a whole lot more likely.

Then you can clearly see the a claw on that torso on the right. Here .

But If we are in fact getting trans limbs, I actually hope it's in a trans light blue not a trans azure of some sort. Would be a bit easier to use

There is no "trans azure" or anything of that sort. On the current color palette, the closest transparent color to Medium Azure is Transparent Light Blue, which is ironically closer to the Azure colors than to any of LEGO's standard shades of blue. Emma's Splash Pool used Medium Azure and Transparent Light Blue together to great effect.

Oh.

Well this is awkward

In that case, excellent; Perhaps all of these first wave villains will use trans light blue and we will see a different color in the second wave?

I thought about that as well...like with the Brains (green and yellow shades in Winter, blue shades in Summer). Perhaphs Summer Beasts use tr. bright green or tr. neon green for their bones. This post kind of implies we're getting more than one transparent colour:

So, we end up with a bit of transparent bones

Like I said before, fluorescent colors are the best, and bones would be welcome in such colors. Just think of the cool under glow that would give.

Something I hate about this wave is that I can't fin the posts I made yaers ago about how I'd like a theme that combined minifigures and mechs using Hero Factory 2.0 style .

I actually remember that post! I didn't remember its author though. It's probably in the 2013 HF topic but I'm not sure.

And, I noticed the Beasts are using some quirky and rare colours as main colours (purple, azure, whichever the colour of SB's second head is). I wonder what we'll get in Summer? I'd like if metallic colours were avoided this time, I love the idea of vivid and vibrant colours contrasting with black. Lime green seems like a given, but I'd like if rarer colours were used as well, like magenta. I know it's early to speculate, but it's still fun.

I would love something like shells in that metallic silver color that is sometimes used in system. Of course it would be for a large, special set.

My next unfulfilled fantasy is for a set of Von Nebula riding a giant , black dragon. Which can totally happen if it turns out VN is really the mind behind the brains and the monsters from below. Just make VN a minifigure. The world needs a VN minfigure.

No. We need a Core Hunter minifigure.

And a Voltix minifigure. And a Witch Doctor minifigure.

Is it safe to say we need / want a minifigure of every Hero Factory character?

A Witch Doctor minifigure would be an interesting challenge, considering how he towers over a typical Hero.

Honestly, I can't wait until we can get a good size reference on the HF minifigures so I can start making minifig-scale HF MOCs. I already have a Hero Pod in progress, as well as an Assembly Tower playset.

I've printed the assembly tower on a 1x1 tile, to get the right scale of everything.

Right scale?With what?

And in regards to the Witch Doctor minifig concept; Having a minifig larger than another could be entirely possible, Look at mars Mission, the aliens vs the alien commander. Granted the alien commander was far superior in design and the alien was a bit smaller to begin with, but it was still a fantastic way of showing a huge difference between two minifigures.

wait, the 2014 HF sets is in toys fair already? if that's the case, shouldn't we get the final HD pictures easily now?

I love and hate your posts. They're always so interesting, but I hardly ever can make heads or tails of what you're talking about.
