simonwillems Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Because today, the 21st of march, is the first day of spring I thought it would be nice to open a topic dedicated to MOC's with a sunny/summer/spring feeling. Post them here! Let me start by posting my pier with beach. Summer on! Simon. Brickshelf Gallery Quote

Here's a 3-trunk tree with geese, probably the most summery pic from my gallery: Mark Quote
Asuka Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Wow, simonwillems, what a lovely pier, I like especially that little refreshments shop, very smart with that steering wheel on top. *y* And, Mark Bellis, that Quote
Hobbes Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Let me start by posting my pier with beach. Very, very nice! "Old school style", reminds me of the 1990s harbor sets. And I can feel the beach breeze *sweet* Here's a 3-trunk tree with geese, probably the most summery pic from my gallery: I'm always amazed by the various tree building techniques. That's another one. Wish I could do that... or at least get myself around trying ;-) Quote

Optikal Illushun Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Im really diggin the pier, especially the beach. looks like a great addition to a city. that would be perfect for the Pier police set. Quote
simonwillems Posted March 22, 2007 Author Posted March 22, 2007 Thanks everybody for the kind words :-$ I also like that tree (and the use of those flexible technic pieces to make the branches), very nice! ...that would be perfect for the Pier police set. It is on my wishlist.... Quote
Mr Hobbles Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Very nice, I like it a lot. The orange inflatable rubber lifesaving thingy that's attached to the end of the pier...is this an actual LEGO piece specifically designed for this? Or is it just a normal circle piece... Quote

Or is it just a normal circle piece... This actually is a real legopiece, and quite a recent one too, from the worldcity sets. It's called "Flotation Ring, life preserver". They are really nice, come in three colours and are relatively cheap to get on Bricklink. Quote
