ER0L Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 (edited) Hi all, here's another 7w full-size car, a 1987 Ford Crown Victoria: The car fits 2 whole minifigs. It's got a detachable roof to get the figs in and out. Another perspective: Now if you wonder what's so special about a 1987 Ford Crown Victoria, maybe you know these two little guys: You're right, it's meant as the famous "POS" car from "Men in Black I". Hope you like it! C&C welcome as usual. Edited September 18, 2013 by ER0L Quote
eurotrash Posted September 12, 2013 Posted September 12, 2013 Sweet ride ER0L! I recognized it immediately. Quote
lightningtiger Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 AWESOME car 'ER0L'.....I it......keep them coming 'ER0L'......Brick On Cruise On ! Quote
rriggs Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Looks nice however I think that the bumpers need to be more square rather than angled to give a 1980s feel to it. The angled bumpers make it look older... Cheers Rog Quote
LegoJalex Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Really nice looking! Love the front! Quote
monsinjor Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Fantastic car. The front part is great. You did great job! Quote
ER0L Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 (edited) Sweet ride ER0L! I recognized it immediately. Thanks a lot eurotrash! Love that POS, ER0L! Glad you love it LEGO Guy Bri! AWESOME car 'ER0L'.....I it......keep them coming 'ER0L'......Brick On Cruise On ! Many thanks LT. There'll surely be some more cars ... fantastic !great work !!!!! Glad you like it oirad 72! Looks nice however I think that the bumpers need to be more square rather than angled to give a 1980s feel to it. The angled bumpers make it look older... Cheers Rog Many thanks Rog. I can see what you mean but the car has already many flat surfaces, so a little profiling was needed. Anyway that could be changed quickly. Really nice looking! Love the front! Glad you love the front LegoJalex! Fantastic car. The front part is great. You did great job! Thanks a lot monsinjor! I'd like to add some more photos: Car with passengers inside. The new welding gun as a wiper is just a test. Should be two of them but that didn't work out ... Car with detached roof. And yes, there is a red button: A scale comparison between a 6w MOC, a 6w TLG car and a 7w MOC. Compared to the convertible that goes with 10232 Palace Cinema you can see that the MOC cars aren't out of scale, at least what could be called "larger city scale" or "CC scale": Thanks for looking! jluck Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 I love it! The sleek design is awesome, and the scale is perfect. Quote
jimmynick Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Congrats on another great car, ER0L! I like the offset section of the bonnet and the wheels & tyres. I'm curious - on the side shots, I can see a very thin line underneath the tiles that make the sides of the cars - what is that? Quote
Only Sinner Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 You always impress me with your wonderful MOCs. This is another fine examlple. The two custom minifigs reminded me of Pulp Fiction before I thought of Men In Black. Quote

The mentioned aspects were crucial here. - No secret, those are modified plates 1x2 with door rail. You always impress me with your wonderful MOCs. This is another fine examlple. The two custom minifigs reminded me of Pulp Fiction before I thought of Men In Black. Many thanks Only Sinner! Well, at least Jules would have quite a different hairstyle ... Btw. the minifigs aren't custom, it's all plain Lego. Edited September 14, 2013 by ER0L Quote
