I joined a few weeks ago now, did not realize this forum was down here since I hadn't scrolled down...originally from Iowa, have lived in Missouri for a long time, both KC and now St Louis for the last 10 years. I have my original space from when I was a kid and now a lot more sets since my kids have gotten into it. We got to go to Legoland in California last Christmas, was sad to know that Lego doesn't own Legoland, but still had a lot of fun at the park.

Interested in buying and trading when I get to that level. Love the modular houses and Architecture. Youngest daughter loves the Friends sets and has almost every one. Oldest daughter saved and got all the Monster Fighter sets...except Haunted House. Lego family all around and super happy they finally opened a store here in St Louis.

Welcome! We'll be moving back to St. Louis shortly, maybe we'll see you at the Lego shop. Eurobricks is a great site, isn't it?

Joe and Eurotrash, good to see MO represented, if only the Tigers can put up some points on the ball field this year. Go Mizzou! Go Iowa!

thanks everyone for the warm welcome, Joe I hope to see you at the store as well, we are there every month so far for the build with the kids, the crab was the best so far

Zipper - classic sets, I am actually going to try to inventory them, but mostly the smaller sets from back in the day, 420 Police car, 460 Rescue Units, 480 Rescue Helicopter, 490 Mobile Crane...Sea Plane, Learjet, small biplane, a police van, space ones, I really need to get organized. I saw there is a thread about sets from when you were a kid, posted in there as well.

Sets I want: Green Grocer, Cafe Corner, Market Street (nothing big right?) problem is I didn't get back into it til my kids were older and missed out on some cool big sets I wish I had the money to pick up now

I grew up with a father who was a Yankees fan and a grandfather as a Cubs fan...but my first baseball memory was in 1975 when Carlton Fisk hit that home run...the following year I was put on the Red Sox little league team and that was all she wrote...been a lifelong Red Sox fan. Yaz is still my fave player of all time.

I lived in KC for 8 years and worked for the Royals for one year in the front office (sports in the front office does not pay) but I had a wonderful experience. I also did a few things for the KC Wiz, who became the Wizards and now Sporting KC...wish we had MLS here in St Louis. Also did some stuff with Chiefs. Alas those days are long gone now and I work for a bank.

BMJackson, agree, my kids want me to be up there on Sunday morning to be first in line to get the new minecraft sets. Will try...
