panmanstan Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 ok so I have been waiting for about 3 years to make one so here it goes the track I will be using is the part number 57518 but i don't know any good suspension set ups also another problem is how to get traction with the treads if there is a way to put part number 45590 Quote
efferman Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 this suspension maybe 100_9919 von efferman auf Flickr Quote
Marcel1980 Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Thats a good suspendion from efferman. Also look in sariels unofficial lego book. Lot of tips there. Quote
Junpei Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 There are some pieces that will hopefully be available soon (well, just not 1,28€ apiece) that are just rubber inserts for those tread pieces. I also hope they will be available in a color besides red. Quote
Marcel1980 Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 With a couple hundred of 45590 you can also make a tread. Quote
panmanstan Posted August 23, 2013 Author Posted August 23, 2013 ok efferman can you post more pics and or instructions (sorry I suck at building from a pic :/) Quote
efferman Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 look in the flickr folder behind the picture. there is all i have from this chassis. Quote

panmanstan Posted August 23, 2013 Author Posted August 23, 2013 thanks and yea the portal hub and thx for the lxf and now a big fat chunk of money is going to bricklink ;P Quote
Junpei Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 Also twentyleggedman, I saw those on google, do you have a clue when there going to be released and if they're going to be in the US? TwentyLeggedMan? They will probably be available through bricklink soon, as the EV3 has been released. I'm not sure about about the tracks just by themselves available officially, but look out for maybe a service pack for them in the near future. Quote
SNIPE Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 (edited) Hi, take a look at zblj's ripsaw tank this uses suspension for each tread wheel. There is red rubber bars that fit into the pinholes of the treads but they are expensive at the minute as they are a brand new part, third party thigns that are similar could work though Edited August 23, 2013 by SNIPE Quote
Junpei Posted August 23, 2013 Posted August 23, 2013 @SNIPE I honestly think it would be better to wait for a first party lego part as it will benefit the lego company as well as.. you know... not being third party. I'm glad lego finally made them tho. Quote
panmanstan Posted August 23, 2013 Author Posted August 23, 2013 sorry dyslexia kicking in at twentyleggedHEN Quote
panmanstan Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 ok efferman can you convert the lxf to a diffrent file type Quote
efferman Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 you dont have the lego digital designer? Quote
Junpei Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Well, I don't either. I don't think a conversion would be possible to any computer default program. It is really inconvenient not having it though, but I am not a talented LDD builder.. Quote
EyesOnly Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I'm not either, prefer mlcad, but i keep LDD around mostly to open files i download. Quote
