dunamis Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Ok, as promised here are the photos of the Star Wars Magnets that I picked up today at the LEGO Store in Glendale, California. Now, you must understand that magnets (or keychains) are not my deal so I really don't know if these are good or bad. Supposedly, the lady at the store told me these sell like crazy and I was the first person to buy them (they came straight from the shipping container.) She said people have been calling the store every days for a few weeks now. So, here they are. I left the resolution really high so you can see the detail. Ask your questions and I will try to answer them as best I can: Note: Boba's helmet does not come off. Enjoy! Quote
picklesdynasty Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Wow, those are pretty cool. Is there a difference between the magnet bodies and the regular bodies. It seems to be in the legs, but does it go all the way up? Does the stormtrooper have a face or just a blank flesh head? Thats wierd. :ninja: Quote

The stormtrooper has a blank flesh head. Quote

xwingyoda Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 For a massive company im really surprised these sort of mistakes happen, i would love to know how many per year are recorded. The problem mate is that this is NOT a mistake but a cost reduction !! Red hands cost more than black hands, its as crappy as that >:-( (Its the reason why Squidward and Mister Krabs have bley hands instead of their regular colour !!) That is so tireing each time... *yoda* = spammer.................. :-P X-D ;-) X-D *yoda* Quote

Norrington Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 so wait, can they be used in the same way you use regular Minifigs, i.e. do the magnets get in the way of sitting? Do the legs and arms move? Thanks! Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Hey I saw chiukeung's magnet BS gallery and he gave me a wonderfull idea: the magnetic legs CAN be replaced by normal legs hehe !! I didn't know that 8- Quote
Corvus Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 They can? That's extremely helpful. Thanks *yoda* . Might get more than a couple. X-D Quote
