[MOD] My first mod posting, 60016 Octan tanker with 3180 trailer

This is my first MOD I've posted, actually it's my first mod, as I'm generally an OOB kind of guy.

I raided Lego 7733 for trailer hitch parts and designed a dolly to attach the trailer from 3180 to this years 60016.

I'd like to show you more but I can't upload any more than 100K atm, is that a new member thing?

I'd like to have used wheel wells on the dolly but it would have made the scale way too large and unrealistic.

You can always use something like Flickr to host your images and then link/embed to those to get around that limitation.

This looks cool - perhaps you could raise the trailer or lower the truck to make the two containers at the same height.

I like it, but think it would look a bit better if the trailer was raised two plates to be level with 60016. It looks like an easy thing to mimic off the truck. Still a neat mod

I agree.....nice MOD but yes do raise the height of the rear tanker so it matches the front tanker.......any way nice work and Brick On 'canuckster' !

Yeah looks good maybe with the raised tank you could fit those wheel mud guards in where you wanted to....? Not exactly sure how you've done the MOD but it would look nice( r).
