SNIPE Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 (edited) Hi, I've finished making the steering & wishbones/hubs for the back of the car but I'm unsure how I can securely attach it to the chassis which has two beams that are 5L apart. The diff and axles are color matched in black so if you drag that assembly over so that they connect, everything will be in the right place for attaching to the chassis. Alasdair Ryan Posted August 12, 2013 Posted August 12, 2013 I don't see any real problem....a simple two layer chassis should work fine. Quote
SNIPE Posted August 12, 2013 Author Posted August 12, 2013 (edited) The problem is that the wishbones are half a stud out from the chassis which is 5L. Edited August 12, 2013 by SNIPE Quote
SNIPE Posted August 13, 2013 Author Posted August 13, 2013 (edited) I think I've found an OK solution the whole model is kinda held together in 'weird' ways but the wheels should be attached to the chassis strongly now, the white suspention boxes are not mounted too well and will probably get pulled off and the steering rack does not look too sturdy either. Here is the new LDD file. Here is the original LDD file. Edited August 13, 2013 by SNIPE Quote
