One instantly jumped out to me - Abraham (FDY) said his is the Alien Avenger. From my perspective, this seems to fit in better with Cyclops and Medusa than with Cheerleaders and Trendsetters (though if I didn't know better, I'd have put the trendsetter on the scum side, what with that little dog and crap, but whatever). So I'm thinking that Abraham messed up twice now - the quote Danyelle just cited defending Carlisa, and then in revealing his CMF. Given all that, I'm voting for him. You'd think if he was scum he'd make up a better lie than that, but maybe he expected no one to say they were the Alien Avenger? This could have even made me think SK or something if there was a third party in this game, but there's not. But anyway, I still think there's tons of other evidence against Abraham. Like I called him out for yesterday, he only accuses the lynch candidates when it's obvious they're already gone and he basically doesn't add anything else other than his vote. He still hasn't gotten back with any suspicions and has been absent all of today (even though he was active earlier today). So he's too lazy to defend himself or do anything else other than vote for whoever's getting lynched. Alright then, Abraham, will you vote for the lynch candidate this time? mostlytechnic Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Well, I can say that ALL the rest of the CMFs revealed are completely innocent characters. (actually, there's one that would have made me think SK even more than the alien, but I'm not saying anything more yet - and it's only making me think SK because I'm actively LOOKING for meaning behind the characters). But based on the list, everyone else gave non-threatening figures. I'm thinking Abraham didn't realize that the figs might have any meaning....
DarthPotato Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 I know it's usually best not to look at the pictures for clues, but this game is far better to do it than in others. In the sign up thread pictures, it looked like there were four monsters (Medusa, Cyclops, Evil Knight, and the Gangster). Could this mean there's only four scum? I would have guessed five in a game of 20 especially because there's no SK or anything but Abraham seemed pretty sure there were four earlier today and that we were halfway done. If Abraham does get lynched and turns up scum then I'd lean towards there being one more scum. We'll see though.
jimmynick Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 This Abraham result seems a good lead, but I hesitate to judge "evil" the secret identity with information limited. Melanie, mia bella, could you please publish a list of claimed secret identities so we can all work, with information the same as you have. Il mio sentimento, that publishing such a list does not benefit the scum in any way. If all the other identities, they are as harmless as you say, I shall certainly vote for Abraham today.

Anyways that CM spirit does seem strange, if it is a false character choice, it may have been to avoid choosing a character of a townsman; and I do agree the character choice is very monster looking. I've not been so keen on Abraham so far, he doesn't want to contribute, and with him being on the Lawrance list, along with this strange CM character that seems out of place, I'll have to set my vote to: Vote: Abraham Petruzzi (Fred Daniel Yam) Lets hope to catch this scum, and another in the night again.

Yes, the list has been shared with 2 others, so the info will not be lost.

The only thing that has me worried though is that it sounds like at least one other scum made up a non-threatening CMF identity. If this is the case, then why didn't Abraham do so as well?

As the person above me said, other scum seem to have made a false claim. Why not him? And are there really clues in the CMFs? But Abraham is suspicious for other reasons, mainly because his behavior reminds me a lot of someone in another book. There he was really nervous as scum and slipped more than once. I try to find evidence when not on mobile.

I noted it in a seperate line. One thing that sticked out to me is Paris' vote for Abraham. It's WIFOM at its best, but I tend to say that it is a bus. I had the feeling in all of Paris' accusations at Abraham that it was just a bit of dissociation and it fits to Paris that she uses this vote analysis to whitewash Abraham by accusing him as confirmed scum. If you know what I mean. Another thought I want to add is that I find Adams behavior pretty odd, asking so persistantly for the CMF-identities. I think it is pretty clear that noone should reveal their powerrole to a 'stranger'. And with Adam I mean Benvolio Roni.

Regarding her suspicions of Abraham, I found this last post of her pretty interesting. Paris had stopped defending herself before. This was her final goodbye on Day Two, her lynch was already fixed. Then she says this: *falsetto* Well, it's time for me to go, dahlings. I thank you for your time and attention, and apologize to those who I've offended. Tip #29: Don't make enemies. I am fairly confident that Abraham and Rocky are both scum. Please lynch them both in the coming days. I vouch for Alicia and her investigator - nobody would pull this stunt so early. Unless her investigator is Abraham or Rocky. In that case, string him up by his toes. A-ight, 'gals, time for me to g-o out the d-o~! Now that we know that she is scum, the natural thing to say is that Abraham and Rocky must be Town as she was scum. Never fulfil the wishes of confirmed scum. But because of this and the unnatural strong emphasis in this wish makes me think that we should fulfil her wish and lynch Abraham. I hate WIFOM.

I think she did not sacrifice herself at any point of this ga... It's just a WIFOM statement. She gets lynched and says: "Lynch Abraham and Rocky." If she comes up Town, Abraham and Rocky would be on our list (like Paris and Carlisa were after Laurence's death. But she comes up Scum and we say as good townies: "Hell, she wanted to get rid of Abraham and Rocky. No way we lynch them." Now we come to the WIFOM part: "Would she bring forward the name of a fellow scum just to make us say this sentence?" I say: Yes. "Would she mention town names to make us come to my conclusion?" I say: no. What do you say?

Given we don't have an SK or other third parties, it's not one of the monsters revealed already or shown in the comics, and Melanie's assessment that all the others were very innocent characters, all suggest that Abraham was lying about his CMF spirit. What bugs me about this though is that it seems likely a really dumb choice if you're going to lie about your CMF. However, the fact that he hasn't come back to defend himself against the accusations made (before or after the reveal) seals this vote for me. Vote: Abraham Petruzzi (Fred Daniel Yam)

I don't think the business of going through CMFs to find scum, but I suppose it's not unlike if it was asking for roles to do the same census to make sure no claims conflict. His quiet, middle-of-the-road attitude isn't doing anything for the town.
