oirad 72 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 (edited) Hi guys! This creation was inspired by my friend Riccardo. Because of him and his creations, I'm thinking of creating a moc related to the Al Capone world and the 20s. Hope you like it! Brick on ;) You can see other pictures here http://www.flickr.com/photos/oirad72/ Edited August 2, 2013 by oirad 72 Quote
eurotrash Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Sweet ride! I like the suicide doors and the back end looks perfect! Quote
lightningtiger Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 Wonderful looking cars 'oirad 72', I tend to favour the one using the dark grey 1x2 slope grilles......Brick On Drive On 'oirad 72' ! Quote

oirad 72 Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 Wow you captured the feeling of the period incredibly well. Whats on the nose of the car? it's a chrome frog ;) thank you everybody!!! Quote
monsinjor Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Really, that car is awesome. I love the idea for the bumper. Quote
Luke_likes_Lego Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Nice builds...what piece are you using for those bumpers? Cheers, LLL what piece are you using for those bumpers? Was just reading 'Mr. Elijah Timms's' review of 60021, and saw these on the box!! 'Hero Factory Weapon - Claw with Clip' Odd coincidence - since it only appears in four, non-hero factory, sets....but I'll take it!! Quote
jimmynick Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 This looks very nice! I think that a project like this (a 20s car - not Al Capone) would be very "fresh" if you decided to put it on CUUSOO. I would certainly buy this if it were a set. Quote
oirad 72 Posted August 16, 2013 Author Posted August 16, 2013 Hey guys thanks for your compliments I am glad that you appreciated my creations I would like too post this on cuusoo ,what do you think ? Thanks Quote
helos Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 You've precisely captured the shape. Well done I also love the details. .........I would like too post this on cuusoo ,what do you think ? Thanks Of course you have to do it! It's an unusual subject and there are not so many creations of that theme which.....could be devoloped. Quote
Canticleer blues Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 This is a very elegant looking creation! The overall scale is perhaps a bit too long, but if looked at as an artistic exaggeration it perfectly captures the 'spirit' of 1920's-era cars. I also love the clever parts usages, in particular the technic blade elements as bumpers, the frog, and especially the transparent chef's hat as headlights! Excellent work oirad 72! Quote
