CopMike Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Hi! Today I moved some off my stuff from the house were I lived with my now ex-girlfriend. This is the load of LEGO that I hauled away: 23 cardboard boxes, 13 plastic bins .... :'-(! And I still want/need more :'-)! Is there an end to this madness? And the year 2007 looks so good, the Event coming up ...... :-D. Anybody else with LEGO Compulsive Disorder :-P? More On copmike Quote
Scouty Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I have to move as well, so pack all the Lego into cardboard. Fun X-D . I like to buy Lego. I have been a Legoholic for uhm...a while. Quote
Hobbes Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 were I lived with my now ex-girlfriend. I don't dare ask.............. ;-) Anybody else with LEGO Compulsive Disorder :-P? LCD, huh? Sounds like... you know... addictive all the same... I'm occupying an entire room (pics will follow) with shelfs, tables and boxes and what not. So, yeah, I know this "I have to buy"... oddly enough my wife gets those... "attacks" too sometimes... ;-) Quote
Optimax X Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Yes! Very much so, so many new sets that i want, mars mission, racers, castle, star wars battle pack, town, and bionicle to name afew! Quote
captaintau Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 LCD, huh? Sounds like... you know... addictive all the same... Sounds serious, this "LCD"? May I suggest that we all poll our respective nation's Health Services to screen the population for it? Quote
Norro Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Well I am drowning in lego as well... though I'm not sure I have that much... God Bless, Nathan Quote
ImperialJohn Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I am a Legoholic. And proud about it. And it seems that 2007 will be the worst year yet to figth the problem :-D Quote
Vader Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I know exactly what your going through copmike, i moved around a year and a half ago and most of my sets are boxed up still :'-( Silly thing is that i went from a small flat where everything was on display to a house twice as big as the flat and yet i have no room 8- Quote
Starwars4J Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Anybody else with LEGO Compulsive Disorder :-P?More On copmike That...sounds sort of funny if you say it out loud ;-) :-D But seriously, I can relate. I have nowhere to put new sets...it's becoming a real problem *wacko* Hmmm time for the wife to lose some clothes etc i think >:-) Can't wait for the honemoon, eh? Sorry for the bad jokes guys, I just couldn't resist :-P Quote
exo attack Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 I am a legoholic. Although I use legotine :-D patches. That helps. Sometimes. This addiction will definetly grow, with 2007 stuff, like Exo Force, Bionicle, Caf'e corner, Mars Mission, And many, many others. Quote
snefroe Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 i too am thinking of moving later the year, so i'm putting all my lego in plastic "31L" boxes. it's started like: "ok... i need to buy myself new plastic boxes for my lego." Now it's: "ok... i've got several empty plastic boxes left, now i have to go out and buy some Lego to fill them..." :-| Quote
xwingyoda Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Compulsive say you ?? :-D G I don't have enough space home to store anything !! My flat is cramped with Lego everywhere *wacko* :-D I would definitly need a bigger flat looooool, if only I had the money to move :-P Oh well, and '07 is really NOT helping for space :'-( Compulsive freaks On !! *yoda* Quote
mutley777 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 I am 100% addicted to lego, there seems no end these day to the number of sets i buy and parts orders from BL seem to be following the same trend. Most of my sets are no longer on display just a select hand full. I will get my lego room done one day. Hmmm time for the wife to lose some clothes etc i think >:-) :-D good luck with that one. I have found that once my wife's 2 wardrobes were full her stuff started to appear in mine!! There is no end to the amount of clothes a woman can own! :-D Quote
rexcal Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Nice topic, copmike! ;-) Yep, where to put all the LEGO? And from time to time old sets wait impatiently for becoming built up again... I guess we all know these 'problems'. And luckily there could be worse ones. :-D Quote
SuvieD Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Hi, I'm SuvieD and I am a Legoholic. Way to much stuff in my house. Being poor has forced me to find new ways to get my fix. I have resorted to buying it, spliting it up and keeping everything after I make back cost. Man I am starting to feel like a dealer of not so legal substances. Quote
admDaggett Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 The Problem is, where to put all the Lego? The right "Tower" is completly full with Lego. Sets I own with Boxes are still in their Boxes. Even my bed is legofied. The problem is: I have no place to build, sort or whatever I want to do with my Lego. So my girlfriend and I are redecorating the flat, and as we have one room extra, this will be our "collection room" She is collecting toylines like "She-Ra Princess of Power", so she needs a little space, too. :) *knight* Quote
Capn Frank Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Hi I'm Phred and i'm not a legoholic. I can quit any time i want. I just don't want to [ever... (never, ever, ever!!)]. I'm not drowning in lego, i'm swimming happily in lego X-D I don't even have room to set up my UCS ISD and i still get more and more bricks. BTW, What's a flat?!? P That's what the British call their apartments... THanx Hobbes X-D Quote
