Norrington Posted March 4, 2007 Posted March 4, 2007 "We should attack them or something. You could be Emperor maybe. As long as they have my mule" "Sweet." A funny video from Robot Chicken, with a Mix of Napoleon Bonaprate and Napoleon Dynamite. Enjoy! The Movie Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 5, 2007 Governor Posted March 5, 2007 That was great! Right up until it got to the courthouse scene, then it seemed like it had ran out of interesting material... Quote
exo attack Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 I agree with MR. phes... It became a bit OTT... Quote
Norrington Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 Well, scince Napoleon Bonaparte didn't do anything interesting after he was exiled (except be debated over wether he died of arsenic poisoning or stomach cancer), they had to do something that only Napoleon Dynamite would do. (Was Napoleon Dynamite even released in Australia? I think it wasn't because it was an independant film but I could be wrong...) Quote
oo7 Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 I hate Napolean Dynamite. I hate MTV. This short is pretty dumb. The worst of the few Robot Chicken skits I've seen, which I usually enjoy. It just wasn't funny at all......... Another thing; isn't this forum supposed to be LEGO History and Adventure? If any Lego forum this should be in the pirate forum.....but it really should be in either community or C&M. Quote
Norrington Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 No it should be history, because there is no Lego involved with it therefore it can't be lego pirates, so It shuld be history and adventure. Quote
oo7 Posted March 5, 2007 Posted March 5, 2007 so It shuld be history and adventure. Ah, but the name of this forum is LEGO History and Adventure. The Pirates forum is also specifically Lego, but the discription reads; "Discuss pirate, colonial history, Napoleonic Wars, Mesoamerican civilisations (Aztec, Maya, Inca, etc) and the Age of Sail themes here!" I wonder if Mister Phes is aware of the mispelling in 'civilisations' (sic).......... Quote
Norrington Posted March 5, 2007 Author Posted March 5, 2007 Touche oo7. At least you can understand it, also, isn't that the old english spelling? Quote
oo7 Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 No clues. Hey you, European member, we need your help!! Yes, YOU! Quote
oo7 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Oh Dear God, a WWII cliche... The poster was created in 1917 to encourage recruitment in the United States Army during WWI. It was later revived for WWII, but it's still most famous for WWI. Great Britian, the Jewish Legion, the Soviet Union, and the Basque Nationalist Party of France soon followed with there own imitations. My point being it is an American Clich Quote
Hobbes Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 There's no LEGO in here, off to C&MM you go... Quote
