Create the central skeleton in technic and all the rest with normal Lego bricks, you can make it more detailed and similar to the real version Quote
Legofan225 Posted July 9, 2013 Author Posted July 9, 2013 To use normal bricks hmm well okay then thank you for the advice guys !! Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 I've seen some pretty awesome Technic sci-fi mocs in the past, and I'm all for seeing this done in Technic. And, LEGO Technic had some Star Wars sets back about 10 years ago. I don't recognize the assault frigate, but if you can replicate some of the functions (landing gear, doors, etc) and make it look good, I think it would be a nice moc. IMHO, I don't think the yellow wheels from the mini-backhoe loader will look good. Black or grey would be better and can be purchased off bricklink cheap. Quote
Doc_Brown Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 If you get wheels from ebay, or bricklink, make sure they are new, as 75% of used small wheels i have brought have been cracked!! Quote
Legofan225 Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) A okay then l will get starting then thank you guys for the advice !!! and also l will go sketch l little bit for the details of the ships interior and thank you for the advice in looking for some lego technic wheels online thank you guys also l will look online for the funcions of the ship Edited July 10, 2013 by Legofan225 Quote

The BL-stores I have been to, have stated that items listed as used are in a very good condition with no significant signs of usage unless stated otherwise. Did those cracked tires come from sellers who said they were in a good shape, and may have lied, or could they have checked the tires and failed to notice cracks, you think? Either way, I only buy items listed as new. I don't wanna waste money on used items that may have damages, and I haven't had the need of items I can only get used anyway. Quote

Will it be easy (especially for your first MOC)? Hell no Quote

Yes, that's what I meant. Only yesterday while browsing some American BL-stores to find the name of a part, I found some part with a description of the condition in addition to "used". Quote
