conductorjoe Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=237560 This isn't really much of an MOC since it is just a minifigure. I've been experimenting with stuff like this, using bricks as parts on a minifig, and it's kind of fun. Any suggestions as to how I could improve my technique with this? I wanted to make a sort of near-future sci-fi cyborg guy. The rifle is meant to be a machine gun, (I didnt have a Batman one to use :P) by the way. His face is some Aquanauts console thing. Quote
ghoulrealm Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 That was interesting. Although I don't see this as the coolest minifig/cyborg ever, it did make an impression on me. I like to see mocs done in unusual ways. Any suggestions as to how I could improve my technique with this? I think the best way to improve technique is to keep playing around with trying different parts. If you happen to see some other moc that gives you inspiration, try to take your favorite aspects from it. Don't stop with with emulating other's builds. Make alterations and keep trying the unconventional. What I sometimes like to do is throw a mix of many specialized parts in a tray and work something out of that. Quote
UltraPrime Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 I like it. Simple, yet effective. Actually, reminded me alot of this: Muton Blood for the Baron! Quote
Optimax X Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Interesting looking cyborg. Quite scary. Would not want to bump into him on a dark night! Good work, keep it up. Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted March 3, 2007 Governor Posted March 3, 2007 He's a very business man looking cyborg... Quote

I'll do that. @UltraPrime: Heh, that's...umm...interesting. @Optimax: Thanks. =) @Phes: Yeah I thought it might add a little unique-ness if I had him wearing a suit. X-D Quote
