Starwars4J Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 I ran a quick search and didn't see topics on this, so I thought I'd post. If anything has been mentioned, feel free to shut it ;-) I was randomly browsing the S@H today, and noticed some things: First was this Spongebob magnet set I figure this is useful for someone who wants them, but doesn't want to pay the outrageous BL prices *wacko* It says "Exclusive", and not "New", so I figure this has been on for a bit, but hasn't been noticed too much. Then is another, two Batman magnet sets: The first is just "Exclusive" But this is listed as "New" (which of course may mean nothing) Now this may be extremely old news to people, but I didn't see anything on it, and I figured this might be helpful to someone :-)
dr01d3k4 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 i'm definitly going to get that sponge bob magnet set, when it's available in england. i really hate batman so i am not going to get them batman magnets. i didn't even now there is spongebob magnets. thanks for the info.
Starwars4J Posted March 3, 2007 Author Posted March 3, 2007 Well, since SB is being released so slowly in Europe, they might not get released there at all. Your best bet would be to get an American EB user to send it to you, and pay him or her
blueandwhite Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Batman for the win. Honestly, this is the only affordable way to pick up a Robin minifig (even if he is a magnet). Given the price of the Batcave, I'd rather just buy these.
Starwars4J Posted March 3, 2007 Author Posted March 3, 2007 Spongebob: $14.99US Batman Minifigure Magnet Set: $9.99US Catwoman Minifigure Magnet Set: $12.99US So Spongebob is still the most expensive, but not by that much. The new Batman one is more expensive than the old one as well. Not bad, overall though considering BL prices
oo7 Posted March 3, 2007 Posted March 3, 2007 Interesting. That's not Lego to jsck up prices on the select few great sets only because they know people will be willing to pay them. Although I think think this would be better off in the BST&F forum.
