Dark Imperator Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 (edited) Here is a little MOC I've done. I'm keen on Indy, and I love the scene of the nuclear test in Nevada, so I wanted to create it with bricks ... I also wanted to have the typical 50's esthethic, which is very clean and sleek, so there isn't a lot of studs. I enjoy the scene : How to survive an atomic bomb ... par Dark Imperator42, sur Flickr What do you think ? Dark I. Edited June 8, 2013 by Dark Imperator Quote
becauseBATMAN Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Bonjour! Awesome MOC, it is very clean and detailed! Quote
MikroMan Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 Great, nice style I like the way you broke off floor with tiles in multiple spikes. Quote
BrickG Posted June 8, 2013 Posted June 8, 2013 You've immortalized one of the worst and most ridiculous scenes in a bad and ridiculous movie. :( It looks good though. Quote
eurotrash Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 Great looking VIG of a laughably bad scene of a good movie. Thanks for sharing it with us! Quote
ch_ris127 Posted June 9, 2013 Posted June 9, 2013 It surely captures the frantic feeling of Indy emptying out the fridge! I love the clean look of the kitchen - it'll surely fit into a 50's set design...until a guy in a fedora walks in. I'm pretty sure he's screaming in his head, "Why am I even in this movie???" :D Quote
BlueberryWaffles Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Finally! An IJ MOC! Well done. The fridge is just right. (unlike the giant one in LEGO Indy 2) Quote
TheLegoDr Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 Looks great! Instantly recognizable. I didn't love the movie, but it's nice to see some love for Indy. Keep up the great work. I'd love to see more scenes from you. Quote
Bobskink Posted June 10, 2013 Posted June 10, 2013 sweet, I always liked that joke (probably one of the few) Quote
Lancethecat Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 Is Indy able to fit into that fridge with his fedora on? Quote
KingPixels Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 I really like the MOC but personally I think that the way the floor breaks off like that is a bit distracting and takes away from the clean aesthetic. Quote
mechamike Posted December 18, 2013 Posted December 18, 2013 Nice build, Nice touch with that orange juice box tipping.. good caption of the ridiculous scene.. Quote
BrickG Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 You have converted one of the most ridiculous and stupid things in the Indian Jones movies (all of which are pretty much in that last movie) into Lego. I'm not sure how I feel about this ;p. What's next? The stupid ant or monkey scenes? Quote
Jared Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 (edited) Lol, personally not one of my favourites, but it looks great in LEGO! Nice job! Edited December 24, 2013 by Jared Quote
